PR disasters of Meghan and Harry.

Left off at the last page with Meg selling candles to people who want to know what her young children smell like. She’s also using the kids full titles in the press release….just for a dash of extra exploitation.

As you were

I think Meghan was described as a humanitarian when she met Harry too? A working actress who did occasional volunteer work - and she was very lucky as it was always photographed...

Yes, that's how she self described.
I think they've taken that on as a couple.

They are circling the drain. Yet again, an event has been overshadowed by Harry making a laughing stock of himself.

The headlines are all about Trump slapping Harry down and emphasising how irrelevant he is. Even the reporter who asked the question was doing it for the fun of it.

Neither of them bring any positivity, it’s just negative attention, everyone can see through their ineffective PR spin.

He's been to Ukraine before and presumably has some pressure there - I just hope that they see sense and don't invite/accept him again.

(The displaced Ukrainian people I know understandably have a strong bias towards anyone with even the most superficial pro Ukrainian stance, but sometimes they miss the nuance - e.g. telling British people not to let Boris Johnson go, when we're quite within our rights to get rid of the ball bag and govern ourselves - plus other politicians being willing to support too.)

You're right, and it just shows both their extraordinary arrogance, but also their ignorance. Did they think the Australian trip was a humanitarian effort, in any way?

They issued some flannel about connecting and compassion, yeah. Absolute PR slop. I think Harry feeds his thoughts through ChatGPT or Gemini and calls it ‘thought leadership’, then demands that his PR team (probably all grifters themselves) put it out.

They have self-actualised their own genre of Comedy Cringe.

To me "humanitarian" is some other people ascribe to you , it doesn't sit easily with me for someone to describe themselves as such.

Edit to add. - OK this is an AI overview but -
( I can see some Harry sized holes in his description of himself as a humanitarian based on this )

A humanitarian is a person or organization dedicated to reducing human suffering, saving lives, and maintaining human dignity, often acting in conflict zones, disasters, or emergencies. Centered on compassion and altruism, humanitarianism relies on four core principles: humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence.

Core Principles of Humanitarian Action

  • Humanity: Human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found, prioritizing the most vulnerable.
  • Neutrality: Humanitarian actors must not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political, racial, religious, or ideological nature.
  • Impartiality: Aid is delivered without discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religion, or political opinion, based solely on need.
  • Independence: Humanitarian objectives must remain separate from political, economic, or military goals.

Anyone who describes themself as a humanitarian is a absolute joke.

It's toe curling. It's basically saying: I'm a really good person everyone! And lacking the awareness that no one should announce that.

He's such an embarrassment.

PoppysAunt · 24/04/2026 09:52

Well, @BasiliskStare , he's none of those.

StillSpartacus · 24/04/2026 10:15

Lots of people don’t follow H&Ms day to day escapades because they are not interested. I heard a Times Radio presenter yesterday saying that H should be given his dues for going to Ukraine. The context was that H is often - rightly -criticised, but good for him on this occasion for keeping Ukraine in the headlines.

And this maybe what they are hoping for. Looking ok for the vast majority of people who aren’t bothered. After all, M isn’t the world’s most hated person, she’s of zero interest to most of it. But perhaps they think by staying adjacent enough, they can pretend not to be grifters. So interesting that it was Trump that called them out. Talk about it takes one…

PoppysAunt · 24/04/2026 10:26

It's one of those weird situations where Trump actually appears sensible and lucid. I completely agreed with his points, and I don't think I've ever said that before.

That's how she described herself - and was very upset with Vanity Fair when they could find no evidence of all her humanitarian work.

AtIusvue · 24/04/2026 10:37

Meghan must be annoyed Harry left without her, she could have merched a yellow and blue outfit when she met the victims of war!

I disagree. He has dragged the world to the most perilous state and backed everyone into a corner - his actions have had disastrous consequences for many and most of us haven’t felt the aftershocks yet - but his priority is banter about an irrelevant has-been royal and his long held personal spite for MM. Nothing sensible about this man especially how he chooses to use his time, headspace, emotional energy and global platform in these critical moments.

And she edited her wiki page in summer 2016 to add this in to fake her persona to PH.

It only seems to be one journalist, Richard Eden, who keeps raising the topic. No idea why but it's probably clickbait.

Most probably - as you engage more people by agitating them.

However although I don’t believe there is any move to, or any agenda by the BRF to re assimilate them as working members or even as adjacent invited family members to public events - I do believe that a father at this stage of life and health would want a private reconciliation for his personal needs and also for his public image to aspire to forgiveness and reconciliation. I believe that KC3 has done this on multiple occasions but PH makes it public each time - hence the very recent quote about ‘bitterness and trust’ indicating that PH isn’t respecting and guidelines / remit / boundaries for any potential personal behind the scenes reconciliation because that doesn’t fit H&M goals which is to engineer recent visual footage of them with KC3 to prove to the world that they are royal - so that they can monetise that connection to flog UPFs and tat online.

I agreed with Trump's comments about Harry. Which was a weird situation for me.
I genuinely don't need to be told what Trump is like - I follow the news and current affairs!

So you will know that no one is describing him as lucid and sensible - just you.

Oh dear. I didn't describe him as being lucid and sensible! 😂😂
I said that he made a comment that I agreed with, so he appeared to be lucid and sensible, because of that. It was a joke really, making a point about Harry.
I am well aware of Trump and what has been going on. Seriously.

PoppysAunt · 24/04/2026 11:25

Oh dear.
For clarification: I am not a Trump supporter, folks, I do know what's going on in the world.
My joke obviously back fired!

TheAutumnCrow · 24/04/2026 11:29

Trump said other things too, about UK politics, because he took advantage of the ‘what about Harry, eh?’ question to easily segue into broader political criticism:

So cheers, Haz. Nice meddling own goal there mate for your fake beloved carbon offsetting and humanitarian agendas. Fuck you.

Prince Harry - a man in a dark business suit, white shirt and olive green tie, stands in front of two small microphones as he delivers a speech. The background goes from blue to sunrise yellow in a gentle gradient.

Donald Trump says he speaks 'for the UK more than Prince Harry'

The US president's comments come ahead of a state visit from King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Good points, @TheAutumnCrow . We really don't need Harry shaking that hornet's nest. He needs to stay out of politics because he isn't in that role and doesn't have the wherewithal.
