PR Disasters of the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued :

  • So far we have Meg using charity events/sick children/vulnerable adults to merch her fashion, with the launch of her new fashion platform
  • She will be appearing on MasterChef Australia
  • Harry claiming to have had therapy when Archie was born, even though he never sought MH help for his ill wife a few short months earlier.

Are they?

Well, there was at least one 😂- will Meghan use it on her merch page to help flog her ill chosen outfit?

I admit I didn't know about the outfits, that's fair enough especially the blue and white stripes, not acceptable.

The evidence I have regarding Camilla is that she openly and very publicly contributed to the abuse of Princess Diana. It is well documented. That's why it boils my head that so many people are critical of Harry - but not the woman who was partly responsible for what happened to his mother. She is an awful woman, but hey give her a title (which she should NOT) have, and it wipes out the past.

Can you link to the evidence, please? Maybe start a thread as you are derailing this one? I don’t remember anything of the sort about Camilla. And I’m not sure “recollections may vary” is appropriate as this would have been in the public domain, unlike what went on between the Sussexes and the RF before they left. Or is this like the books about how the Sussexes have been abused that don’t seem to exist either 🤔

Stop derailing!

It is clearly set out in the OP that this is a Harry and Meghan thread. At no point does it say it’s a general RF thread or for any other member.

You are constantly seeking the attention of those whom you don’t agree with. That’s beyond strange.

If you are so fascinated by Camilla, then create a thread about her and stop seeking enthralment from thread you had earlier deemed sad.

I really thought the Diana was a perfect angel victim of the dastardly Camilla narrative would have faded by now. Diana was a human woman with flaws like everyone else, she lied and exaggerated, she was treated badly and treated others badly, she slept with married men and broke up marriages. It was a nasty, messy situation in which no one was innocent and no one should bear the sole blame.

That is quite dismissive of wbhat happened there.

The Birkenhead footage - there is video of it, but hard to find - shows something quiet weird going on. H point to M's bump as they start the visit. Her abdomen then gets flatter and flatter and some undergarment goes south.

Look it up, make up your own minds. I don't know what to make of it.

But the really weird thing is that MSM ignore it, when much lesser sartorial oddities get the full Sidebar of Shame treatment.

Sorry I’ve only just seen this, @Rhaidimiddim. I’ll certainly give it another look, with an open mind.

Perhaps I’ve been swayed against the idea because, while I admire Lady Colin Campbell for her architectural restoration of Castle Goring 💯, I do find her pronouncements on Meghan & the bump to be a bit ‘out there’, urging people to write to the Palace demanding proof of legitimacy (‘the child must be born of the body! Of the body!’) and I felt the Cringe and stopped watching.

Catching up with thread now, hopefully!

Just seen a photo of them on the beach. I've seen bigger crowds on Bondi when there's been a jellyfish sting.

😂😂😂😂

They do look like 80% press, paid photographers, videographers, bloggers, Instagrammers; and 20% stickybeaks Grin

I’ve seen bigger crowds round a custom-made motorbike at the Grand Prix.

According to DM - Meghan left her "retreat" at 7pm local time so was present for around 2 hours of her "wellness weekend" - so more of a short "meet and greet"

She and Harry are off to the Rugby instead

Wonder if it was worth the $3,000 that attendees paid?

Sorry if it’s been posted, I’m too busy to keep up today.
But Meghan had a beach walk earlier in the day, accompanied by none other than Marcus Anderson…

(Plus security obviously)

Is that Scobie coming up the rear 😀

'why would these key people want to anger the future King?'

The answer to this is likely 'in order to placate the current king'. I'm certain that any rumours of the palace trying to bring PH back into the RF are originating from KC's actions, as he is seemingly very keen to get his younger son back in the fold before it's too late. As everyone rightly suspects, once Will is king, it's game over for Harry. He will remove titles, privileges and everything else, and Harry probably won't be the only current royal to receive that kind of treatment. All those grace and favour houses rented at knockdown costs to peripheral family will be eased out of use, and there will be a very small circle of working royals, operating a much tighter ship that don't do half of what the royal family does now.

This scenario certainly seems to dovetail with the interview/conversation that William had with Eugene Levy.

It also makes me wonder how long Charles imagines he has left.

Further, I wonder if Charles has given a thought to Camilla’s life after he’s gone if vengeful, spiteful Harry (or both H&M) are ‘back in the fold’? Harry would make her last years as Dowager Queen Consort a bloody misery, just because he can. It’s in his nature; he has form. I think William and Catherine will be decent toward her, though.

Fans out on the beach

Oh, those budgie smugglers!

AtIusvue · 17/04/2026 12:34

I’m not sure if this was just for the chat, but this was the night of the gala dinner. This is what she wore?

Doesn’t that say, brunch in Monticeto with your rich gal pals …rather than a gala dinner where people are spending thousands to see you?

I guess attendees will be able to discuss things with their newly met room-mates in bed tonight 😁

HoldMyWine · 17/04/2026 12:40

She’s really mugged off her fans who forked out thousands to see her

AtIusvue · 17/04/2026 12:40

I seriously don’t get her choices?

She wore cream trousers and top to a gala dinner in the evening. Yet wore a shift dress, black denier tights and sky high heels to a day visit to a university?

Eh? Did she get confused what outfit was for what day?

I would imagine that KC has made provision for Camilla. He's all too aware how petty, bitter, money grabbing and vindictive H&M are.
She'll be well beyond their poisonous reach.

StillSpartacus · 17/04/2026 12:46

I think Camilla would be happy doing her own thing at home with dogs and Grandchildren. H&M don’t seem to have realised that not everyone has the same need for attention.

Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere · 17/04/2026 12:47

Wow, just as you think they can't get any more inappropriate and tacky (visiting sick children, merching the outfits) they do something even worse: visiting Bondi, in deeply inappropriate clothing and merching that too.

Quite. She'll do what she loves doing - gardening, dog walking and spending time with her grandchildren. I'm sure she'll be more than content to be out of the spotlight.

BasiliskStare · 17/04/2026 12:59

I couldn't agree more with @StillSpartacus and @MissFenellaPrism . I suspect Camilla will retire quietly to Ray Mill House and be very content. I wouldn't be surprised if she keeps up some of her charities/ causes , eg DV / Osteoporosis and literacy. I genuinely don't think the royal trappings interest her.

I remember a poster once saying they thought Camilla put up with the Royal flummery because of the man , M puts up with the man because of the Royal flummery (I'm paraphrasing ) . But M does seem to enjoy the Royal cosplay.
