PR Disasters of the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued :

• So far we have Meg using charity events/sick children/vulnerable adults to merch her fashion, with the launch of her new fashion platform
• She will be appearing on MasterChef Australia
• Harry claiming to have had therapy when Archie was born, even though he never sought MH help for his ill wife a few short months earlier.

Kate has never posted a link to the outfits which enable her to make money out of people buying them. I think you don't seem to understand this.
Meghan is merchandising her outfits.
Her choice.
However, combining that with visiting sick children and the scene of a horrifying antisemitic attack is what many of us are criticising.

Oh and they didn't leave the RF because of Andrew. He has not come in for criticism in their many, many interviews.

Dear god, this Australia trip has turned out worse than I imagined.

I didn't say I wanted them representing me. You assumed that. I just gave my opinion on the facts as they stand at the moment. Which is that the royal family do represent me until we are a republic and H&M do not. If I don't want 'the vipers' representing me. I certainly do not want their hangers on doing it either.

What do you want Harry and Meghan to do? Just disappear or not live their lives? Meghan has far too much spirit to ever do that. I don't think they are hanging on at all. It is more that if you do not 'obey', you're seen as a leech for living your own life. Maybe it's more that they are showing the royals up for what they really are.

I admit I didn't know about the outfits, that's fair enough especially the blue and white stripes, not acceptable.

The evidence I have regarding Camilla is that she openly and very publicly contributed to the abuse of Princess Diana. It is well documented. That's why it boils my head that so many people are critical of Harry - but not the woman who was partly responsible for what happened to his mother. She is an awful woman, but hey give her a title (which she should NOT) have, and it wipes out the past.

It's not about that. You are derailing constantly. There are plenty of threads to talk about Camilla, Andrew, Charles etc . It breaks talk guidelines.

Camilla hasn't made money from her outfits.
She hasn't made money from speaking to victims of abuse, illness and terror.
Camilla is the Queen because she is married to the King.
Diana died 28 years ago. We do not know all the details. However, recollections do vary, remember.

If Camila is pretending as you say, she is doing a better job of being an actress than Megs.

Also is she prentending to get Boots to give wash bags to victims of sexual abuse.

Camilla doesn't need to make money the point is she is using very vulnerable women to try to improve her image.

My recollections don't vary. I'm old enough to remember exactly what was said at the time.

You are getting confused again between facts and feelings.

Camilla is not a hanger on. She is in fact the Queen Consort. Married to the King and a working royal.

Harry and Meghan have stepped back from Royal duties through choice, they are no longer working royals. But they annoy many by keep talking about their royal associations in a private capacity in order to profit from it so in that way they are hangers on.

They may be better, nicer, more glamorous, kinder more authentic. But they are no longer working royals. They quit.

Camilla like it or not, think she is suitable or not, is a working royal unless she steps down (retires) or gets sacked (Andrew).

She is not using vulnerable women to self promote.
She is engaged in charitable activities.
You obviously don't like her, but it's important to distinguish between official royalty, and celebrity money making. Camilla is the former, H&M the latter.

I know there has been some , but I am surprised there isn't more distaste in the MSM re M merching her clothes at charitable / philanthropic events.

This thread is set up to criticise Meghan for the exact thing the royals do every time they set foot outside one of their many palaces

It doesn't have to be either/or, @TigerIsHome; some of us regularly point out that the rest of the RF use the vulnerable for PR too - also that even what we see is the result of very skilled image management

PPs are right, though, that at least they're not directly merching their clothes, and certainly most exhibit better public behaviour, without the obsessive focus on the nearest camera and the apparent need to make every occasion about them
