PR Disasters of the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued :

• So far we have Meg using charity events/sick children/vulnerable adults to merch her fashion, with the launch of her new fashion platform
• She will be appearing on MasterChef Australia
• Harry claiming to have had therapy when Archie was born, even though he never sought MH help for his ill wife a few short months earlier.

I was thinking that even the most fame hungary celebrity has better taste than to selling clothes off the back of sick children. I'm pretty sure this is going to backfire spectacularly on them in terms of what they can do moving forward.

Hopefully they will at least get removed from the Royal website.

As the parent of a child with extremely complex needs who is no stranger to hospitals i cannot understand the hospital or the parents involved in the childrens hospital fiasco.
why were children who looked vulnerable to infection wheeled out and stuck in a crowded area in the first place? . And it makes my blood boil to see sick.and potentially life limited kids used as props to enable them to do their patronising faux oh so caring' charity ' work.
I blame the parents as well who should all have told them to eff off and protected their kids health and privacy.
If they really cared about the kids then the Sussexes should have made a private visit and worn masks as a starting point to visit the children in their own rooms.
Honestly I am disgusted the more I think of it.And to be grinning and gurning on Bondhi beach whilst trying to make a quick buck . I have no words tbh.
the only consolation is that surely she will make about £2.50 out of those clothes because she consistently bombs out when it comes to dressing well. I cant imagine anyone wants to emulate much about her and especially not her awful fashion sense.

‘The circumstances recall the removal, after two days, of images of Harry and Meghan attending the birthday party of Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, on the eve of Remembrance Sunday last year.
In the latest case of the vanishing pictures, neither Netflix nor the Sussexes were willing to elucidate on why the images were quietly expunged. The only shot that remains is a line-up of Harry, Meghan, Sarandos and Ms Avant (above). Notably, all pictures in which the duchess is in physical contact with the couple are gone.
A Getty spokesman said: 'Those images were shot for Netflix and they have asked for them to be removed, so we can no longer license them.'
An insider said all pictures taken at Netflix events by Getty would be approved by the streamer, generally at the end of the event. A delay of 24 hours in posting them was seen as unusual, and suggests the client (Netflix) was taking pains not to cause any offence to guests. A post-publication request to remove pictures is 'highly unusual, if not unheard of', a source said. The Sussexes were snapped up by Netflix in an exclusive deal reportedly worth $100 million not long after quitting their life as working royals in September 2020.’

So NF approved the photos that Getty had on their website. Which means there were clearly photos that didn’t make it. I’m guessing they knew straight away how bad Meg looked. Then…..of the few that were approved…they were then taken down.

How do they allow Meg to behave this way and get away with it! They never took down other photos …just Megs. So it’s clearly came from their camp because of how awful/high she looked.

She's not getting away with it. They are done in Hollywood because of this behaviour

Agree @flapjackfairy. Crumpled, badly fitting clothes aren’t aspirational at any price; certainly not at the price points suggested here. And merching off very sick children and terrorist victims puts me in mind of the worst dictators from history. The ones who needed to be told they were loved despite their atrocities. It’s like Henry the 8th. Or Trump.

I doubt BP need to do anything though. Since leaving the Royal Family to do it her way, The wannabe queen of the world has basically become a catalogue model.

I'm mystified as to why the people at the Australian end agreed to some of this. What is the actual purpose of them visiting these places and meeting these people? Obviously it's publicity, but negative publicity that has almost immediately shifted attention away from any good causes.
I've been neutral about the removal of titles as I can see it could be seen as petty vindictiveness and grist to the mill for perpetual victims like H&M. But maybe now is the time for KC to put out a statement saying how very sorry he was to hear H give a talk stating that he never wanted to be royal so, honouring this position and to assist in his journey towards more robust mental health, all titles and affiliation with the royal family will now be removed.

Bondi is always crowded being an expert having watched multiple series of Bondi Rescue , it's amazing how many people crowd round if they think 'something' is happening.

Just seen a photo of them on the beach. I've seen bigger crowds on Bondi when there's been a jellyfish sting.

Paris Hilton was on the beach once, you couldn't see the beach for the crowds that surrounded her.

Can I ask why this is any different than:

Camilla meeting with and being photographed with rape victim Giselle Pelecot?
Camilla speaking to and saying she is a representative of women's abuse?
Kate and William meeting victims of Southport or Storm Darragh?
Charles writing to Southport victims families?
William and Kate visiting a soup kitchen and returning to a palace without actually helping anyone homeless?
Charles in the repair shop and Coronation Street?
Charles going to visit Donald Trump but persecuting his brother for associations with his best mate, Epstein.

That's just so wildly offensive, I hardly know where to start.

I cannot speak for others. Only myself.

But the Royal family represent ME. On my behalf they go to charities, businesses, survivors etc. and they showcase the cause, or simply say that we care. Their job is to promote, congratulate, commiserate on behalf of the people they represent. Which is me, until such time as we become republic and they loose their jobs.

Harry and Meghan chose to stop representing me. They chose to become private citizens. But they continue to pretend to represent me while making money off the back of it. I find that uncomfortable.

If, before meeting with Gisele Pelicot, Camilla had provided links to the purchasing of her outfit with a view to make a profit, people would rightly have been critical.

Why do you want a group of people who don't give a crap about the REAL people in the world representing you? I find that really embarrassing to be honest. This thread is set up to criticise Meghan for the exact thing the royals do every time they set foot outside one of their many palaces.

On a daily basis, we are shown what Kate is wearing. Or that she recycled an outfit.

I know you already know this but - the majority of the things you cited are visits by the WORKING Royal Family. You might as well cite all the visits that Anne, Edward, William, Kate et al do in a day - I'm sure they would sound pointless to some people - of course they're not going there to take up a specific role in the business of managing homeless shelters or looking after victims of disasters or crimes. Also, and I know you know this, Trump and King Charles are the respective heads of state of 2 countries, and that is the purpose of the visit. Whether you like them, or the people they associate with, is neither here or there. State visits are on behalf of the UK government. As for The Repair Shop, well, it's clear that KC is a massive fan and has always promoted sustainability. I'll not understand Corrie, but a lot of people love it and he was obviously visiting the studio complex, likely to present or open some part of it, so that's why that happens.
