Absolutely. When my dcs were still primary school age, my dh won an award at work. Part of the prize was an all expenses paid trip to a five star resort in South Africa. There was no way we were going to both be such a long flight from our DCs, even though my dps were more than capable of looking after them.

I do feel bad commenting on Meghan’s appearance. And I often think she looks beautiful and glowing, but what I’ve seen of her on this tour she looks rough. Brows too heavy, teeth too large. Fake tan? She has a hardness about her lately that she didn’t always have. Part of if comes from the silly perma-grin that just makes her look inauthentic.

I have two! And I wouldn’t dream of doing it now they are older! Definitely not when they were younger.

I didn't leave mine, I know people who would but for a special occasion only and not so frequently. I'm not really a small child person, much prefer teenagers, and I wonder if Meghan too struggles to interact with littles.

I'm sure the children are perfectly safe, but it's really unusual for parents to leave such young children so far away so often.

I don’t like to criticise other people’s parenting normally but yes I find the fact that they both go away at the same time and leave the children home ( particularly when they would enjoy going too!) so very frequently for trips which are nothing more than jollies inexcusable!
as I’ve said before, my dh was forces so was away a lot but it was his job , I never left them because it’s important for children to have a stable and consistent life , even Hollywood actors generally have a plan so that only one is away at a time!
