That women's weekend sounds ghastly. Not because of Meghan, she is barely there, but it's the sort of thing I try to avoid entirely being the only woman I know who thinks spa weekends are the 7 th circles of hell.

Someone made an interesting comment at the end of the last thread saying that the Sussexes had rather scratched around for people willing to host them. I do wonder if public indifference and boredom will be their downfall rather than anything more dramatic.

And let's be honest here - stashing all these people in the atrium to have this pity fest fodder for the Sussexes - I understand there was about 70 people - just to make it look like the Sussexes are being mobbed. It looks in the media uncomfortable - poorly children, bald heads, children staring into space . Why could they not visit them in their rooms? Suitably masked? Better - don't go! It's not my thing either, but I get the appeal of a spa weekend if it was full on luxury and 'pampering'.

This 'event' seems really shoddy though. For £500 a night I'd want to know about the food I'll be eating, not just that it's 'delicious'. I'd also want personalised services, not just a 45 minute yoga session I could have for free at my gym. And I'd certainly want my own room!

So yes, Meghan aside the whole thing seems really bad value for money. Plus, the faux matey 'besties' tone is very cringey and dated. And dare I say, very un Australian!

Try not to make everything about skin colour. There is far more to people than that.

These 2 made a career out of embellishing unpleasant stories for fame and attention. They made very cruel comments about his dsm amd his poor db's baldness for starters. They were hyper critical. They should not dish it if they don't want to take it.
