So Charles was an older dad? Yes older than the master chef professionals contestant who became a dad at 17, but by most standards not what I’d call an older dad.

Charles DOB 1948
William DOB 1982
Harry DOB 1984
Archie DOB 2019
Lilibet DOB 2021

By my count that makes Charles 34 & 36 when W & H were born.
Harry 35 & 37 when A & L were born.

What on earth is he talking about?

Harry’s a “young father” as we are constantly being told. 🙄 And Meghan (the oldest out of the two couples) a “young mother”. They have to push this narrative to align themselves with the trials of an actual young mother, Diana.

After his talk about parenting and how he’s not pointing the finger or blaming his father, this snippet from spare was posted! , unfortunately for Harry it doesn’t show his father in quite the bad light he thinks!

Well how interesting. Pa was misguided to write letters to Harry and place them in an envelope on his pillow but Meghan is an MM (model mum) for writing an email every day for 18 years to each of her children. 6,570 emails. That's going to take some ploughing through. And Archie and Lili might say: 'You thought digital communication was a good idea? When you were busy telling the parents of the world about online harms? And you could have just walked from your mansion to our chicken coop and told us all this?'

And great material for a memoir in years to come when Harry and Meghan cut them off financially as they work through their intergenerational trauma.

Examples from this rich source, accessed on 6 May 2037:

'You children love me so much.'

'I see myself in both of you.'

'I protected you by only ever photographing the back of your heads.'

'Lili, you said today: 'Momma, could you buy me a hairbrush?' And I said: 'No, my love. You live a wild, sunny Caligirl life, just scratching around barefoot in the hen feed. A hairbrush is a symbol of the formality of the royal life poppa and I rejected. It speaks to misogyny, racism, colonialism, empire, and misogynoir. A hairbrush's DNA is white DNA. Momma knows best. Matted is best.'

'Bedtime story 'The Bench' recorded by momma when on a trip to Australia with poppa (Link - not found)'

Brilliant 🤩 @IdaGlossop

It infuriates me that the main stream media are not highlighting the sheer arrogant hypocrisy of Meghan and Harry promoting online harms to children under 16 in Australia yet they are using pictures of Meghan at the hospital where they met children who were being treated for cancer to shill her clothes. Is this what royalty is now? If so then it’s finished.

@BigWillyLittleTodger it troubles me too, so much, in fact, that I have emailed [email protected], the Buckingham Palace comms director, saying millions including me are heartily fed up with the Sussex situation and that what's happening in Australia makes the monarchy look ridiculous.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/04/2026 16:13

Thanks for that @IdaGlossop I’ve often wondered if anyone at the Palace read what people actually think such as threads like these or if they rely on the media headlines, the Palace are utter fools if they allow this to continue.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/04/2026 16:14

I will send an e mail as well, using sick children to blatantly make money is disgusting.

KC was 36 when Harry was born. Younger than Harry was when Archie and Lilibet were born.
So much for the criticism that KC was "an older Dad".

Excellent. The more emails the better. Who knows if they read them. Understanding audience sentiment is an important part of the comms job so he would be foolish not to read the emails. However, his job will be full on so I doubt he gives it priority. I've said I'm not expecting a reply, as I did when I cc'd him in to an email to Morgan McSweeny about a stupid decision of Kier Starmer's. I didn't get one.

Well done that woman @IdaGlossop - I might do so too especially re hospital.
I'm betting they'll be thinking they can't really do anything but won't stop me voicing an opinion 😊

Charles, the polo playing, skiing, bicycle riding, keen on walking etc etc Father was short of puff?

Bollocks.

Highly unlikely. Even now, he walks for miles in the Highlands.

canklesmctacotits · 15/04/2026 16:24

I'm just thinking about the reverse engineering that went on re the merching of the dress. I don't believe MM will have got actual cash in her hands. I think this is about public image for her (photographed looking glossy and well dressed on front pages around the world --> more designers wanting to dress her for free back home) and worldwide publicity for the designer.

So MM's team would have had to identify a designer who makes suitable clothes; strike a deal that works for both parties; organize somewhere suitable MM could be photographed wearing those clothes, extra points if it makes Harry look good too; find a photographer; make sure that photographer is the only one issuing photographs for public consumption; get unsuitable photos scrubbed; get photos sent to MM's team immediately for editing and distribution; photos are sent to designer and People magazine with instructions; they upload onto their websites asap.

No wonder the actual hospital visit appeared like a distraction: to the team, who are no doubt working in a culture where everything and everyone is geared towards maximising MM and what MM wants at pain of real-time bullying, it absolutely is. It's like 5% of the actual point of the whole thing, which is merching.

When you think of all the consents and exclusives and paperwork and logistics, it's quite a big undertaking. That's for one outfit. Same thing all over again for the next one. It's not a surprise she's only using one designer, the work involved striking these deals with different designers and making sure none gets a better deal than the other would be too much.

I don't think MM actually cares about clothes that much tbh: she's all about the money. She'll sell clothes, make up, jam, wine, honey, her appearances, a podcast, an interview, the back of her children's heads - anything as long as it makes her money or leads to her making money. So it would have been lovely wearing free Dior and Givenchy but it wouldn't have been enough - she will have felt that they got free publicity from her and raised their profiles by dressing her, she got nothing out of it because she got no money, the only currency she deals in.

I believe Charles did in fact fall off his polo horse and severely injured his back ( I don’t think he ever rode again?!) , however I don’t recall how old Charles was and we have no idea exactly how old Harry was when his father stopped throwing him about!!

hold the phone!! , I have just realised something! He’s talking about his father being a single father, so this was after his mum died ( we don’t know how long after) but he was 12/13 William was 15? , it’s not surprising that his father could no longer lift and play roughhousing with him at those ages! , my own son at 12 has had to except that he is simply too heavy and big now for similar reasons!

Edited

Charles didn't finally retire from playing polo in charity matches with his sons until he was 57 and Harry would have been in his 20s - there are videos on YouTube.

But KC did have some bad injuries so not a surprise that he couldn't play roughhousing games in his 50s
Key Polo Injuries:

  • June 1990: Broke his right arm in two places during a match in Cirencester, which required a second operation months later.
  • August 2001: Fell from his horse at a charity match in Cirencester, losing consciousness briefly.
  • 1980: Thrown and kicked by his horse, needing stitches for a facial injury.
  • 1992 & 1993: Further injuries included knee cartilage repairs and an aggravated back injury.
He retired from playing polo in 2005 after more than 40 years of play

The SS/H&M supporters certainly don’t seem able to. They are constantly pushing this narrative. What’s it called? Psy-ops? Keep saying it until people start believing it. Keep pushing the narrative so that William and Catherine (portrayed as cold, boring, formal) come across as much older (both are actually younger than Meghan) and authoritarian bullies; in contrast with bare foot sprites skipping around hugging and sprinkling flowers, just wanting to create “community”, and crying because of big meany royals. Same with the narrative that Harry was a child when his mum died, but William was apparently already 42 years old back then, and complicit in the machinations of the palace over Diana’s funeral. It’s beyond tiresome.

I’m sure I heard that the biggest issue In correspondence from the public to the RF is the behaviour of the Sussexes, and asking the palace to do something.

Unfortunately, they've not been challenged on any of their lies in the many, many interviews and tv programmes they've made. The nearest was Tom Bradby, asking about the RF allegedly being racist. Harry lied again (of course) and said it was the GB media which claimed that, not them.
So it's lies compounding lies, and a whole false narrative going on for years now, on which they are never called out.

Sounds plausible but if true, it shows people don't thin clearly. Harry and Meghan are immensely irritating but Andrew M-B is almost certainly going to be found guilty of serious crimes - sex trafficking, fraud, misconduct in public office.

An extra 264 pounds to get a photo taken with Meghan ?

I wonder if it's because it's less controversial about AMW, he's already had his titles removed and been arrested. It's in process. So I suppose any letters would just be in support of that. Fait accompli, apart from the los.
Harry is not in that league (shudders) but is misusing his title and status and link to the UK Crown.

Cheaper just to download one of those AI images that poster kept putting on the thread. Photoshop yourself in.

When people knew about Andrew and Epstein, but before the police got involved and he was chucked out of Royal Lodge, the focus was on the misdeeds of Harry znd Meghan, with very little said about Andrew.
