Oh my god, that is so true! They said the Palace's grey suits blocked her getting help for suicidal thoughts, but he was allowed to chat to a therapist about not being attached to her bump?

Indeed. Make it make sense!
He has the time and money to get whatever therapy he wants, yet they claim that the Palace blocked help for Meghan when she was clearly very troubled and unwell.
Extraordinary.

I can’t copy paste the text but the bbc article has him contradicting himself so much re upgrades:
“Kids are our upgrades but I am not an upgrade on my dad and my kids are not an upgrade on me but kids need to be our upgrades”
So… is he saying he is failing to raise his kids well as they need to be an upgrade of him but aren’t?

Harry says children should be an 'upgrade' of their parents https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c93ee1dp93lo

He doesn’t get out much does he?

OctopusFriend · 15/04/2026 08:20

Imagine sharing the struggles of parenthood - when you have Nannies and housekeepers, chefs and drivers, paediatricians on speed dial and no job to go to.
Talk about tone deaf.

I actually think the therapy session with the teens with eating disorders is one of the worst parts of this.

not least because in that situation you are so so vulnerable and self conscious about how you look and the last thing you need is to be exposed to the world in photos you cannot control.

But also I really think a stick thin LA celebrity who has had all manner of plastic surgery, and is highly likely to be using Ozempic to stay a certain weight, is just not a suitable role model to be exposing these young girls to particularly at this stage of their recovery. Although eating disorders are very complex things, in many cases what triggers them in the first place is the constant media noise around physical size and beauty and your worth in the world in relation to that. Someone who represents the very epitome of that superficial world is not somebody who should be interacting with these girls.

You have articulated it much better thank you.

I normally find their antics embarrassing/funny but this has actually upset me.

The image of the little lad, with the plasters on his arm (most likely from the chemo) the awkwardness of the teens, all to sell some clothing, make a quick buck and all because of our Royal institution.

And all with the hypocritical backdrop of internet safety.

I am fast becoming a Republican.

OctopusFriend · 15/04/2026 08:25

I don't blame you, @RecoIIectionsMayVary . Some of the - how can I put it - more extreme royalist fans on here are just blind to the faults of H&M and it's akin to worship.
Not healthy.

Save that the Portland Hospital package includes such access to MH counselling. I wonder why they didn’t use that?

Didn’t they also blame KP HR? Who deal with employees, not the employer.

Omid blamed Catherine.

Harry said in Spare he had his therapist on speed dial.

Meghan’s from the therapy capital of the world.

Remote access therapy has existed for years.

Meghan had all her baby shower/US friends to reach out to. And her mother.

But still. No help and that’s the evil RF’s doing.

I was at the Portland. It's expensive for a reason. There was counselling as part of the package, I had a midwife on speed dial and the Consultant rang me at home.
I wasn't even on the VIP package!

I know it has been said before but this nonsense has to be stopped .
Using sick children to promote your money making ambitions is simply awful . Launching a fashion thing whilst supposedly doing charity stuff is tackless , turning up wearing tens of thousands of pounds worth of jewellery to a homeless shelter is tone deaf etc etc .
I had hopes for KC but he is weak . I know he is ill but he is surrounded by advisors who surely must be advising him that the titles have to be removed ? So long as they are prancing around the world as D and D of S many people still consider them Royalty rather than C rate celebrities.
And I still think the LOS should have the Yorkshire and Sussexes removed. I know people say they are too far down the line to cause an issue but the optics are so bad .
Rant over .

This is such a horrible photo, it must be worst one of Meghan I've seen. She should be utterly ashamed of herself.

Thing is that you just don’t manhandle children who don’t know you.

Any normal human being knows this, let alone a woman who is herself a mother.

Poor child.

And yet there are children, teens and adults desperate to get MH support, but with out the finances.

If anyone has ever read any of the posts on here by desperate parents trying to access CAMHS because they can not afford private, the years they are made to wait for even basic support, then the claims are even more dreadful.

How can Harry really believe he is the most hard done by person on the planet.

Passingthrough123 · 15/04/2026 08:34

The hypocrisy is maddening. The RF was pilloried for denying her help when she had suicidal thoughts while six months pregnant. That was the headline around the world after the Oprah interview. But now we find out Harry was in the thick of therapy? Did he not think to ask his therapist to help his wife? But no, it was The Big Bad Institution's fault his wife was left high and dry, not his.

Maddening!!

Superb! NHS/Whittington for me - even I had access to some incredibly valuable anti and post natal therapy. I just had to ask my midwife and she sorted it out pronto.

Excellent 👌!
I did check when all this came out, and when Meghan was pregnant, counselling was always available for pregnant women, no matter what hospital.

I don’t disagree. I am
in no doubt that there are all sorts of trust and duty of care issues at play here. But as a parent, I know I am ultimately responsible for something like this happening if I voluntarily involve my kids who are in no way able to give consent. That doesn’t absolve the hospital at all. They created the situation and exploited their own patients for cash.

TBF it's possible the parents didn't understand how this would be exploited as a huge photo op - kids and parents rounded up on the ward, lets go down to the lobby to see/welcome a Royal Prince. I suppose it's inevitable that there would be photographers present, but I can be a bit slow off the mark sometimes and it wouldn't immediately leap out at me that my child would be used as a photo op and beamed around the world.

I wonder which one will feature on the Christmas card, alongside a child from Jordan. 🤔
