Save that the Portland Hospital package includes such access to MH counselling. I wonder why they didn’t use that?

Didn’t they also blame KP HR? Who deal with employees, not the employer.

Omid blamed Catherine.

Harry said in Spare he had his therapist on speed dial.

Meghan’s from the therapy capital of the world.

Remote access therapy has existed for years.

Meghan had all her baby shower/US friends to reach out to. And her mother.

But still. No help and that’s the evil RF’s doing.

Must have missed the Omid bit - how did he say how Catherine prevented MM accessing MH support?

I don’t disagree. I am
in no doubt that there are all sorts of trust and duty of care issues at play here. But as a parent, I know I am ultimately responsible for something like this happening if I voluntarily involve my kids who are in no way able to give consent. That doesn’t absolve the hospital at all. They created the situation and exploited their own patients for cash.

What 'cash' though?

I don't see what the hospital got out of this at all. They're a major, presumably publicly funded hospital, so it's not as if they needed publicity. The whole thing is just tacky.

Lockupyourbiscuits · 15/04/2026 08:49

The irony of stressing about connection with your kids when you are thousands of miles away - by choice

Noseyoldcow · 15/04/2026 08:50

Whilst I would not like to cast aspersions on anyone who genuinely has mental health problems, could it be at all possible that Megan was telling porkies? After all, she does have form.
Can anybody enlighten me as to why, according to Omid Scobie, who clearly swallowed “her truth”, it’s all supposed to be Catherine’s fault anyway?

Joining a bit late, but why does she stick with those sludgy brown colours that don't suit her? She looks so much better in bright colours.

And let’s not forget her complaints that she was forced to wear dull neutrals during her five minutes in the RF and not allowed her choice of lovely bright colours.

Yet we pretty much always see her in beige or beige adjacent now she is “free”.

More bollocks.

I do agree this mud coloured outfit is absolutely horrible.
She needs her colours done with Bridget Jones’ mum.

He said she reached out for help from Catherine and the latter didn’t provide it. All part of his “Catherine is a bitch” narrative that runs through that book.

Main photo on the Daily Mail just to bring certain posters back down to reality

Meghan is only a finger tip away from being a clone of the Duchess of Windsor.

Apart from the fact this is complete bollocks!
why would you reach out to someone you had previously told “ you must have baby brain “ and commented about “hormones “ !
frankly if it did happen and I had been Catherine I would have told her to “fuck off!”

Even publicly funded hospitals take money from private donors. I thought H&M were there doing their philanthropic work, ie, doling out cash? If that’s not the case, then it looks increasingly like a royal visit, where royals shine a light on the hospital, and the public get to meet royalty. Otherwise, it’s actually the hospital working for H&M, providing them with patients as a backdrop for a clothes merching photo op.

That outfit looks like genuine wet weather gear for fly fishing

I've listened to it several times and haven't a clue what he's talking about apart from a somewhat threatening sounding bit about the sooner we can all get that in our minds the better.

Very unpleasant.

In other words: this is the rival court of Sussex. We’re half in, half out and we are going to be a thorn in the side for my brother and his wife forever.

At the risk of reigniting the previous debate!!
this! , this here ! Is precisely why I think Charles needs to issue a statement!
he won’t stop, we have no idea what he is telling those people in charge! 😡

He says something about individual service. Possibly the “service is universal” thing?

If they had given a cash donation, you can be sure we'd have heard about it.

Organisations do sometimes get minor celebrities to visit to raise their profile, including with other donors.

Just a point about government responses - UK diplomats will have been very clear to the Aussie government that this is a private visit. There won’t be any doubt at a governmental level.

Their narrative that Catherine was supposed to support Meghan is infuriating. Catherine was either pregnant or with a newborn and 2 other children through the events they describe. But again it's never their fault. Omid definitely hated Catherine, maybe she was who he wanted Meghan to be?

I did a yoga and skiing one in my 20s, skied all mornjng, yoga in the afternoon, lovely fun group meals. It was a lot of fun - just women apart from the yoga teacher who was a very attractive guy!

I went on one to Thailand after a horrible time of it. It was supposed to last two weeks. On the evening of day two I escaped from the retreat and flew back to Bangkok where the same aircraft I had arrived on from home was waiting to do the return journey. I practically ran on board and said to the open mouthed crew who knew me - just take me home pls 🤣

jeffgoldblum · 15/04/2026 09:16

I’m feeling extremely irritated this morning! , im tempted to go back to bed for a bit and hopefully when I get up , things will be less infuriating! 🤔

In terms of being a member of the royal family still; he is fifth in line to the throne. And if William and KC die and he moved back to the UK he would be the default Regent.

Indianrollerbird · 15/04/2026 09:19

I’ve watched that clip from X. He’s saying:

“One member of the family serving is serving the royal family. And the sooner we all get this into our minds and accept it the better. From a defence standpoint [mumble] individual serving is treated as government. And you can see from a defence standpoint that should be the focus and from a government standpoint, you should be looking after [video cuts out]”

Well that’s clear as mud!!
