And to that one calling satin unforgiving let’s see what you look like 😌

Satin is unforgiving, it’s a known fact.

Yes, satin is generally considered an unforgiving fabric, particularly in fashion, because its smooth, high-sheen surface acts like a spotlight on imperfections. It clings to curves, highlights lumps or bumps, and readily displays sweat stains, water spots, and wrinkles.
Here is why satin is considered unforgiving:

  • Clings to Imperfections: Thin or low-quality satin clings to the body and reveals undergarment lines and body contours, making it difficult to wear without specific, smoothing shapewear.
  • Shows Stains and Sweat: Satin is notoriously bad at hiding moisture; even a small drop of water, drink spill, or light sweating can leave obvious, lasting stains.
  • Wrinkles Easily: It creases immediately upon sitting, which can look messy, particularly on skirts.
  • High-Maintenance Fabric: It is prone to snagging on jewelry or rough surfaces.
  • Heat Sensitivity: It does not breathe well, which leads to overheating, making it uncomfortable for warm weather or dancing

A body is a body, I said let’s see what they look like, if they are anything like the ugly trolls I see on x, well then 😌

And to clarify are you calling me an ugly troll?

Perfectly sane.

I spy a lady in leopard print, pray tell is that too flashy for the event?

Ahhh @YourBreezyPanda , your defence is so spirited. It’s like you’ve been here before.

It's less than ideal.

Presumably they're not jumping about trying desperately to have their picture taken to feature in gossip magazines. If you don't want to be discussed, stay away from the photographers. Like you yourself say, we haven't seen pictures of everyone at the party, so clearly it's possible to still attend events and not shove yourself in front of cameras. She wants people talking about her, and we're talking. You should be thrilled for her.

someone take her to the gallows then, anyways my overall point is that it’s crazy how people will make up nonsense to justify hateful rants.

Are you obsessing on the rogue leopard print to distract us from the green glow against the right wall?

Aw, is that it? Not even an 'LMAO'? You must be getting tired :( Maybe go have a little lie-down, no doubt they'll still be ample opportunity to leap to her defence for doing weird shit tomorrow.

I would suggest that your voluntary engagement with multiple posters on this thread belies your reference to self importance.

Just an observation- I assumed rogue leopard was a coat/ jacket - it doesn’t look very fitted 🤔

helderste · 12/04/2026 19:07

I’m surprised to find that some people apparently consider patterns, such as leopard print, to be colours. I wonder what other patterns qualify as colours to them? Polka dots? Stripes?

ShamedBySiri · 12/04/2026 19:19

A funny thing has occurred to me: During covid a professional photographer donated time to take photos of some of the staff at my hospital. They were blown up big and plastered along the walls of one of the corridors. I liked them at the time, but now half the people have left and I find the manic laughing expressions tiresome. Not sure if they used a high powered fan but long hair is blowing about and the subjects are laughing hilariously. In short, they look very similar to the pose of Meghan having a marvellous, hilarious time, laughing alongside Ted. On the other hand the picture with Carey M just looks like a normal stand, pose and smile. The picture of them all seated with a few (including Meghan) stood against the wall looks deathly serious, I suppose someone is giving a (not funny) speech. There doesn't seem to be much alcohol (Meghan appears to have a glass of wine and one or two others have a glass in hand), no food and not much fun. Of course all those things may have materialised after the photos and speech. Just Meghan posing in her manic laughter then. She should be on our hospital wall, she would fit right in.

(Some of the subjects had more serious expressions - surgeons and anaesthetists posed with their tools of the trade. Just the nurses and admin staff having a fab time through lock down!)

A longwinded way of saying I've seen that pose before.🤗
