What absurd behaviour from her though !

Definatly really odd. perma grin and grabing on overload. Gave a speech too I think, so got hold of a mic, ticks all the boxes.

corblimeyguvnr · 20/03/2026 13:06

Always makes it about herself 🙄 you can see Kelly thinking " please don't do that" She is revolting .

It was a childrens rights event!

she could start by supporting her children's rights not to be used as a marketing tool at 4 yrs old.

ThePoshUns · 20/03/2026 13:32

Exactly @flapjackfairy.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/03/2026 13:36

...there are still places that still think he’s the U.K. prince Harry

That's true, @jeffgoldblum - for that matter there are still people even in the UK who think meghan should have become Queen Confused - but I'm not sure they're the sort with any real sense influence

And yes, @Indianrollerbird, certainly anything H&M create now is likely to be low budget, but I'm honestly not convinced their "reality" would fare any better than anything else they've done recently

Basically when it's over it's over, especially in America where failure and hubris tends to be unpopular, and if they can make a comeback now they really ought to be renamed Lazarus

Edited to add i've never heard of Reality Tea or RadarOnline, @corblimeyguvnr, and I'd want better sources to believe Meghan's now actively blaming her husband, but she's said both the palace and now Netflix were holding her back so maybe it's fair to wonder when his turn will come

Sarandos was warned not to strike Sussex deal

jeffgoldblum · 20/03/2026 13:45

I’m still wondering why this is coming out now? , I mean most of us here have known or heard the rumours about these two for years and any criticism has been met with abuse , but suddenly whatever protection they had seems to have suddenly gone, it’s fairly obvious that they have pissed off the wrong person somewhere!

IAmATorturedPoet · 20/03/2026 13:56

@jeffgoldblum It could be that NDAs are expiring?

The average length of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in the USA typically ranges from one to five years, depending on the nature of the information being protected and the specific agreement between the parties involved. Some NDAs may even be designed to last indefinitely for particularly sensitive information like trade secrets.

They've clearly pissed off a lot of people over the years, jeff, but those hoping to make money out of them may well have hung around in case there were any opportunities for more

There comes a point, though, when even the most optimistic have to accept something's finished, and that chucking more at it will end well for nobody, which I guess might explain "Why now?"

jeffgoldblum · 20/03/2026 14:14

Ah yes! I agree and think you are both correct @IAmATorturedPoetwith the NDAs probably expiring and @Puzzledandpissedoff, with the failure to successfully raise money!
but I’m also wondering about whether the protection was linked to pr or the ability to raise money?

thenightsky · 20/03/2026 14:17

I think supporters hung around in anticipation of a juicy divorce story.

It must have been all over town, about how Meghans team shopped for a divorce book (as per Vanity Fair 2025). So it’s credible that’s why they stuck around.

I had quite forgotten that little nugget!!

whoopsnomore · 20/03/2026 14:30

So when the thread title is "Royal Family PR disasters" it's essentially a H & M bashing/ bitching thread, am I right? (I know, I didn't have to click or post...)

DancingFerret · 20/03/2026 14:33

Joining in. I'm wondering if all the bad press they've been receiving recently is some sort of master plan orchestrated by the RF (KC) to "rescue" Harry and facilitate a return to the UK for him only. I think someone somewhere has given the nod to the press to unleash the dogs.

Sarandos was warned not to strike Sussex deal

https://archive.is/j4Ac7

Speaking on an explosive episode of <a class="break-all" href="https://archive.is/o/j4Ac7/www.express.co.uk/latest/daily-expresso" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Daily Expresso show, host JJ Anisiobi, revealed that all 10 of Sarandos's chiefs of staff advised him that the enormous deal was not a good investment. Mr Sarandos was reportedly even warned not to "not work with this woman".

JJ Anisobi used to shill for the Sussexes on Talk Radio. Interesting that he's changed his tune.

The thread title is 'PR disasters continued. Thread 6'. So it's the 6th thread in a series.

The first post says 'For all PR disasters of Meg and Papa Sussex'.

bluegreygreen · 20/03/2026 14:40

The thread title is "PR Disasters Part 6". It's a long running thread about the Sussexes.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/03/2026 14:42

I'd have thought both, @jeffgoldblum. If something/somebody's making money for you it's only natural not to want to see the "product" damaged, so now the opportunities seem over the vultures are circling

Personally I hadn't forgotten the account of Meghan's team hawking the possibility of a post-divorce book, and as said back then my main thought was what it would have done to Harry's mindset
However if it does come to that I wouldn't expect the publishers would have needed to hang around ... in those circumstances Meghan may be forced to go to them, only on the back foot this time

Do you think the book story was true? I just find that incredible. The trouble when they react to some stories but not others, you think those stories must be true.

Very interesting @Indianrollerbird🤔 , so not only are the muzzles off but now previously Sussex friendly people are now switching sides too!

Thanks @bluegreygreen, I debated commenting but frankly I’m tired of these attack ploppers somehow thinking they are original or interesting!

Yes I’d forgotten that ! But I do now remember feeling extremely sorry for Harry! ( I don’t now of course)
