Back to the Coogee Beach luxury weekend…

Apparently the pool and spa are still under construction and the beach is polluted with sewage. 🤦‍♀️

Um, I don't want to read this article in case I'm right but - <what> does that man have in his hand?!

No, you showed me a picture of what stage of growth wisterias in California currently are when coming from a verifiable, timestamped source. Which helpfully demonstrated I was correct that Meghan’s picture of her wisteria was not current. They picture Meghan posted showed wisteria much later in the year (few flowers, bright green well developed leaves, whippy growth…)

There are a few examples of this very thread which you are choosing to ignore.

Recklessismymiddlename · 19/03/2026 19:53

Imo a lot of the attitudes towards Carole Middleton is steeped in classism and misogyny.

Mylovelygreendress · 19/03/2026 19:58

@GoldBthehypo what do you think about M stealing clothing items ?

StillSpartacus · 19/03/2026 20:03

I used PP in the late 90’s for DC’s party ware. They did fun, themed stuff that just wasn’t available on the high street. Unfortunately for them, Amazon & Temu now do more party bits and bobs and for less dosh.

I’m not sure Covid necessarily caused the decline of the business, but it may have been a final nail.

That said the decline of a business that had had its time, is different from a business that entered a crowded market without a USP and has never been successful.

erm are you (hopefully) just mistaken about what @Serenster said or lying. Here's a hint there was a 'both' and an 'and' in her post that is curiously missing from yours

You lied then ! And you know it!
but before I have to go and cook , please do me the favour of answering a question…
while I am very flattered by your homage and I’m fairly certain I know the answer could you clarify…
am I the hypocrite or am I the hypochondriac?

I used them too (I think) in the mid 90's, and you're right about them having fun unusual things. I remember one of the things I thought was great was frog shaped sponges! Not sure the party bag recipients were as pleased as I was though ... :)

You know what ? There are weird things go on on here. I remember a poster saying that Admin completely changed the names on people's posts after she has responded to make her posts look foolish. It's a bizarre place. As if ...

ThePoshUns · 19/03/2026 20:16

For starters, the Montecito house was purchased from a shady russian oligarc with a heavy discount. In exchange for what I wonder. And they are exploting their vulnerable and unstable fans into expending extortionate amounts in crap

There is no proof at all that William bought the Middletons a house. But given that he is a billionaire, if he wishes to shower his beloved MIL with Birkins and diamonds, it his call. You know who is never going to get her claws into that money? H&M

Cublaca · 19/03/2026 20:55

wordler · 19/03/2026 17:53

I remember reports at the time with source claiming William had contributed to the deposit using funds from his inheritance from Diana but it was all very speculative.

He wouldn’t have needed to give them the whole amount as they were selling a property in the same village worth over a million pounds.

It was speculated that the move was to provide better security etc. It’s very possible that William felt responsible for all the baggage that came with having him as a son in law so wanted to help.

However the Middleton’s were clearly doing very well - they spent quite a lot of their own money for the wedding - nothing compared to Charles of course but a significant amount for an ordinary middle class family.

I think the speculation was that William contributed to some improvements to make the property secure enough, because they spend there weekends sometimes. If so, that's completely reasonable, IMHO
