From reading the small print on the Invictus website I think the competitors and up to two family members have free board and accomodation. Tiny yay.

The rest is a pretty damning take nonetheless.

Indeed! , let’s not forget the laughable “ Bond girl” ( at her age and acting level!) and a marvel superhero movie! 🤣🤣🤣

I am going to preorder Tom Bower's book on my kindle. I do wonder if Invictus needs to be quietly shelved. H isn't a great patron , and money could go towards eg Help for Heroes or in a pot to help ex military training for the Paralympics, or some other lower key sports charity for disabled veterans , I don't know. Sadly , I think Invictus has had its day & I think H&M aren't the answer , I think they are problematic. Charities aren't a personal platform. 😔

I’m of the opinion that all charities related to Harry need to have serious investigation!

The "Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II" is still on her IMDB as a "TV special" 🙄🙄

Is it really? , how terribly crass , opportunistic and morbid of her!

I know - only Meghan could turn a solemn state and family funeral into a showbiz credit for herself 🙄

I had forgotten that she didn't go to the coronation- I just find it so odd, what an amazing chance to be part of history.

Perhaps she realised that the family would freeze her out very obviously and even her thick skin couldn’t take that.

They were probably warned not to bring a camera team.

Didn’t TB get accosted at invictus last year by SS members? Lots of posts on X about how well supported events were, again probably by SS lot. Does anyone actually know how successful the games are or not for raising money to actually help veterans.

Is the purpose of the games to raise money?
I thought they cost a lot to put on but the intention was to celebrate injured war veterans and give them an opportunity to be involved in sport with the purpose and pleasure that brings for physical and mental health. Or something like that. Can’t say I’ve ever looked at the rule mission statement.

There were plenty of quick (accidental) shots of the stadium which were captured and posted on X showing most of the stadium was empty. Even the closing ceremony had big areas which appeared to be closed off and empty.

There were also complaints that Meghan banned reporters from some of the Invictus events she deemed ‘private’, but had her own photographer taking photos of the ‘private’ Invictus event which she subsequently released on her own private Instagram account.

She really thinks everything is about her doesn’t she?

That's odd but did Meghan add it herself? I don't know how IMDB entries work and always assumed they were like Wikipedia in that anyone could edit them. It could be top level trolling rather than Meghan mistaking royalty for celebrity.

It is quite funny 😂she is difficult to parody because she is a parody of herself!
