Andrew and his family I think lost their taxpayer funded security in 2022. Charles pays for Andrew's security out of his own money ( I know , I know we can discuss KCIII's wealth ) but for the purposes of my post AMW security is not currently paid for by the taxpayer . So I agree with you @bluegreygreen - he does need some (I might say largely his own fault ) & he's getting it privately from KC. @CathyorClaire I think KC is still paying privately for A's bodyguard's etc. If taxpayer funded security were given to AMW now that would be just a Royal PR cockup of massive proportions* - I can't believe it will happen . If Andrew wants to walk his dog then do it on the Sandringham private estate if he's worried , or get his bodyguard to stand a bit closer. Or disappear somewhere even more remote as Bluegrey quite sensibly in my view 😊suggests
*DH like me supports a constitutional monarchy . When I said to him giving in to this demand would be a pr disaster , he scarcely looked up from his crossword as he said "I think it would be the beginning of the end of any support for the Monarchy". I think there is a grain of truth in what he says. Particularly as it would give H something else to flounce around about which none of us need. 😃
