This is the third thread discussing the case Prince Harry (and 6 others) are bringing against the Daily Mail (Associated Newspapers) for alleged unlawful information gathering (UIG).

Thread 1

Thread 2

Since the celebrities have given evidence, there has been limited direct reporting from court; what there is has mostly been on this link

I haven't seen anything by @GwendolineFairfax8 recently, I hope she is ok and wishing her success in the court case in few weeks, something to do with Hugh Grant I think. Best of luck gwendoline x

bluegreygreen · 27/04/2026 13:50

Yes, I think her case starts 11th May?

I hope she feels able to update us.

Meanwhile, I'm keeping a close eye on published judgements.

Hello there and thank you for thinking of me 😊

I have had no notifications (other than today). I guess we are all just waiting for the verdict.

My case is a shambles so it may be adjourned. Unfortunately, it could be very last minute and I will update when I know in case anyone is planning to attend.

My journalist is on standby regardless. He wants to hear certain information stated in court (he’s from the Daily Mail!)

Hello everyone

I was told today that the trial is set to proceed, notwithstanding potential breaches of my human rights, which may give rise to grounds for appeal.

So, if anyone is near Kingston-Upon-Thames Crown Court (Penhryn Road) do come and listen in.

Not only will you hear evidence involving Mr Grant, but also Dr Christopher Moran (Google ten floors of whores), who the one complainant conspired with to commit gun crime and hid his personal use of prostitutes /trafficking - rather than help bring him to justice.

You will hear about innocent victims such as Elle Caring and one of her sisters, who was being stalked by the complainant. I have evidence the complainant was mocking Elle Caring’s husband’s religion (he is Jewish).

You will hear about my husband’s near fatal seizure as a result of the shock of learning about the complainants’ extraction of his life savings by blackmail and deception.

You will hear about corruption at the Met and bias in the court. For example, the judge thought the CVP was turned off and we heard him asking the Clerk to note he was recusing himself from the case, basically admitting he was biased. He therefore should not have made decisions during the hearing.

You will hear my questions to the SRA about the one complainant, a high earning lawyer (over £1 million a year) who extracted money by lies of losing his (£4 million) house and then taking luxury holidays, hiring Bentley transfers, buying designer clothes etc.

After the first day, I will tell you the names and connection.

My crime - refusing to be silenced.

bluegreygreen · 01/05/2026 17:07

Best wishes @GwendolineFairfax8.

Happy for you to update here, or to join your thread if you are setting one up.

I will update here as it is central to the claim against the Daily Mail

GwendolineFairfax8 · 01/05/2026 17:37

PS - for the record, the Daily Mail must win and I know all the details of the historic phone- hacking by the News of the World and victims involved.

I am writing a book - a free one!

GwendolineFairfax8 · 01/05/2026 18:00

When the truth is aired in open court, the complainants will face a financially ruinous claim from Hugh Grant for breach of contract and privacy—a high price to pay to try and silence me.

That does bring me a lot of satisfaction I won’t lie 😊

StormyLandCloud · 01/05/2026 18:45

Good luck @GwendolineFairfax8… would love to attend but live too far away - will be keeping up with your updates though 🤩

It’s the 11th May. It might be boring the first day as no witnesses. My closing speech, potentially Friday, will be worth hearing. I can update as the week progresses.

First time involved in a criminal trial at the grand old age of 60 - but I am not scared at all. No matter what the outcome - I have everything in place. The truth needs to come out.

In our skewed justice system, the bad guys often win - but karma has a way of balancing the scales.

GwendolineFairfax8 · 05/05/2026 10:03

This story has hit our local news today and is another element to my case. My accusers are friends with the Freethy family who have protected Pat Freethy (and will face charges of perverting the course of justice) - plus I was molested in my twenties by yet another of the Freethy clan.

Another freedom of speech case (online rather than legacy media) that has been rumbling on is the case of the Sands couple vs Tattle life.

I thought it worth mentioning as there has been a judgement this week reversing the initial judgement.
It found that N and D Sands had not served initial papers appropriately, and that there were 'serious and repeated failures' by them to 'comply with their duty of full and frank disclosure' to the court.

In effect, as I understand it, they wished to make use of a process which allowed them to sue Sebastian Bond as an 'unknown entity', while they had actually discovered his identity (name, address and up-to-date email address) over the time span of repeated court hearings. They denied having done so in court, and were awarded damages, a worldwide freezing order and reporting restrictions. This judgement has now been reversed.

I don't know where the case will go from here. I think it would be an important case to be heard properly regarding what is legitimate discussion about online influencers. Tattle's T&Cs prevent publication of addresses etc where not in the public domain already, and I have the impression that many of the complaints about them are similar to the ones we have heard from the claimants in this case.

Crikey. What a tangled mess of substantive vs procedural law and ethics! Fascinating stuff though.

bluegreygreen · 07/05/2026 17:52

Yes, I thought so.

It seemed to fit in here. I think it would be good if the actual case goes ahead; I think a proper case looking at online discussion of influencers, and what is legitimate discussion as opposed to 'hate' or 'trolling' would be beneficial.

Hello to anyone following me.

The first session is on Monday at 11am. There are no witnesses that day - but my accusers will be present. It might become clear who they are but probably not. If you only have the opportunity to attend once, perhaps wait til later in the week. I can let you know when I will be giving evidence.

I mentioned karma - well I have a gem. I am going to let the trial run so that they commit perjury and then reveal it at the end - and with the Daily Mail present.

They have also made another massive error which is to send me a bill for £75k to intimidate me. It’s like someone is looking out for me saying ‘Gwennie you’ve got this’ 💙

Warning - their evidence will not paint me in a good light - please reserve judgement til the end.

bluegreygreen · 09/05/2026 10:07

Hello @GwendolineFairfax8.

I can't be there but sending good wishes and will be following along with your updates.

I assume that your opponents know all the evidence through disclosure? Or is this something different?

I'm keeping an eye on the thread and have a post prepared to start a 4th thread when the time comes.

OP posts:
GwendolineFairfax8 · 09/05/2026 11:25

@bluegreygreen

The complainants do not know what evidence I have. It’s a criminal trial - so it’s the CPS.

The CPS and The Met are both horrifically incompetent which I will also expose - because this case alone will have cost the hardworking taxpayer over £20k (I will make a freedom on information request as to the exact figure) and it is a shocking waste that could/should have been avoided.

I will never be silenced and now I have even more to say.
