The royal family

What is likely to happen to the Sussexes?

When the money stops flowing in? They are finished as a brand, MM has nothing original to offer and is tainted with the toxicity that has surrounded them. She personally has ‘bullying’ allegations and high staff turnover as well as her blatant dishonesty. There is evidence that they are no good at making podcasts / documentaries etc so no big income there. There is increasing ‘interest’ from US authorities into their financial dealings … what next? Surely KC3 won’t fund them, so how will they keep going?

She will be fine - she is very clever and will always fall on 4 paws.
H. is probably homesick and lonely, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back at some point. I think he would really want his children to know their heritage.

Thedom · 11/02/2026 10:32

I think they will continue their desire to be public figures, I really believe Charles is funding them, but not anywhere near the kind of funding they need to support the lifestyle they desire. Harry must be worth tens of millions, and he seems to be supplementing it with a few speaking gigs, so they will never be poor.

I do believe they wanted and expected to be independent financially when they left the RF, unfortunately for them all their commercial ventures have failed and even their charitable ventures have failed.

Unfortunately they seem to be in a similar camp to Sarah Ferguson, asking and accepting favours from very wealthy ‘new’ friends, and already they, and their little daughter, are permanently linked to a billionaire who is accused of sexual misdeeds. There are other new friends in their orbit who also have rumoured unsavory backgrounds.

Harry is publicly stating, and doing everything he can, to reconcile with the ‘awful’ royal family, including using his wife and his kids as leverage to make that happen. They clearly don’t see anything wrong in the RF and how they have managed to turn a blind eye to the Yorks behaviour and links to horrible unsavory people.

They are not in anyway a normal family. Nothing they do is normal. Normal families don’t have to make appointments to see their family via private secretaries.

They are a family that expects to be able to imposes a Head of State on us and for us to fund their family to the tune of millions a year from birth to death, so not really the same.

If you had a dodgy uncle in the family would you like your new sister in law to tell everyone that the whole family including you were "rotten to the core"? And go on world wide TV to say that everyone in that family including Gold were racists?

If they don’t want people to say these things about them, then they should behave better. They family have shown themselves to be bad with racist comments (Philip and Harry), expressing concern about skin colour which Harry said was unconscious bias but really is racism, covering up for a rapist who misused his position just because he’s family, paying off victims for a rapist because he’s your son, nor being transparent over tax etc. They really are rotten to the core.

What you're saying is tar everyone with the same brush. Very old fashioned of you but I suppose its a view.

Yes 👍
Say what you like about Harry & Megan but don't dare say a word about the fabulous Andrew & Fergie who remained part of the family so we could see the ins and outs of their lives. They are so fabulous because they didn't dare make a better life for themselves by moving abroad.. who cares what misdemeanours they've done once they remain part of our fabolulour RF. Loyalty is everything.

Thedom · 11/02/2026 10:43

If they really believed the RF are that awful, they would be relinquishing their RF titles, particularly Meghan, whose title is not a ‘birthright’ as Harry’s is and as his children’s are, something Meghan seems to feel strongly about.

It’s foolish to believe they left because they saw what was going on behind the curtains and didn’t like it, more like they believed they could do similar but on a much bigger scale without any checks and balances.

They are not involved in organisations that want to limit free speech and censorship for no reason, they want to be able to keep the curtains shut on their own operations, in the same way the RF have been protected.

If they left because they knew about Andrew why didnt they speak up when they had the chance in the Oprah interview. They could have helped the victims. Silence is violence after all.

GoldDuster · 11/02/2026 10:47

Referring to him as a "Dodgy Uncle" while writing posts about the way a woman chooses to make her money is nicely illustrating my point. Can you see that she's not necessarily the big issue this week? Or any week?

I don't usually get into conversation with religious nuts or royalists because of the cognitive dissonance, so I'll leave you to it. Truth will out. Whether anyone chooses to see it or paper over it by hating someone "over there" is another matter.

They are public figures in a very unique position. If they don’t want to be tarred with the same brush, then they need to behave better and come out and clearly condemn the bad relatives. Drop this never complain, never explain rubbish they hide behind, or issuing short statements due to public pressure that don’t really directly say much at all.

BoredZelda · 11/02/2026 10:50

Andrew is all over the Epstein files and the stories are getting worse. Then all of a sudden, “explosive” stories (with absolutely no receipts) appear in the paper about the Sussex’s finances.

And you all fall for it because you love to hate Meghan. It would be funny if it weren’t so tragic.

I agree with you there. Harry wants what all the RF wants- for them all to be able to do what they like without any scrutiny at all. He doesn't care about how terrible they are. He just wants them all to be able to do what they like without scrutiny and to be able to stick his kids on the gravy train too. He should have stayed where he was. The other Royals know they have to chuck some members of the family to the press occasionally so they can get what Harry wanted. Unfortunately he was the obvious one thrown to the press to protect the main moneymakers.

He wants to reconcile with his father, who has cancer. Is that so unbelievable?

Charles’ accounts are a matter of public record. If he were funding Harry, it would be obvious.

I do have an image now of you as a 1950s Nora Batty figure in a hairnet gossiping with neighbours while pinning out your washing. "Shes no better than she should be that one ..bad family you know .." 🤣🤣

Haven't seen those. I still cant get over the kneeling picture of Andrew which was the headline on the Telegraph website for TWO DAYS! Hideous.

What are "receipts"?

GetThemFromTheBack · 11/02/2026 10:59

There are people here and on other SM who don’t want Andrews predatory behaviour or his misuse of his position discussed, They don’t want Sarah, Beatrice or Eugenie's questionable behaviour talked about. They don’t like discussion on Epstein and the RF, Williams lack of transparency over tax on the Duchy or racism in the RF etc. To deflect they have to talk about things to do with Harry and Meghan that haven’t happened and most likely won’t happen.

And posts appear on here that are pure speculation, because they know there isn’t any real way they can make Meghan and Harry as bad as Andrew, but they want to keep the narrative that Harry and Meghan are the problem. It’s funny really.

I am responding. My answer to your assertion that everyone in a family should be responsible for the actions of one member and tarred with the same brush is in my view the old fashioned assertion of a small-minded and unreasonable individual. Very much the old stereotype of a 1950s gossip.

Lampzade · 11/02/2026 11:04

I don’t know why some posters are pushing the narrative that the Sussexes are in financial dire straits . They are not .
They are raking it in

To even compare them to the free loading , Sarah Ferguson (whose source of wealth is questionable) is just ridiculous

Two things can be true at once

Andrew can be bad
Harry and Meghan can be bad too
And we can discuss both as I think both are bad in their own special ways.

Probably funding from his personal funds.

Harry also said he wants to reconcile with his brother, he wants the benefit of the proximity to the RF, he nor Meghan care what the RF have been up to.

it’s silly for anyone to believe they left because of some moral high ground,

But if Meghan and Harry are bad, then talk about what they’ve actually done that is bad. Having to pretend they’re going to go bankrupt to actually have anything to say about them seems like of an attempt to deflect from the threads about Andrew, Sarah, the late Queen, William, actually doing wrong things.

Meghan and Harry won’t go bankrupt. No one actually thinks they will. It’s an attempt to deflect which you have to question. It doesn’t surprise me with the amount of attempts to shut down discussion on the wrongs of the RF, but it is very obvious. Just like you saying your Nora Batty comment to deflect from the point.
