Sarah Ferguson - just as bad as Andrew?

So whilst Epstein was serving house arrest following his conviction for sex trafficking young girls, Fergie sent him messages - from the BBC:

Some emails in the latest release appear to be between Epstein and Sarah Ferguson, Andrew's ex-wife.
One email dated 4 April 2009, was signed "Love, Sarah, The red Head.!!"
It says that she was going to be in Palm Beach and wanted to have tea. The email goes on to discuss ideas for Ferguson's company, Mother's Army. The former Duchess of York refers to Epstein as "My dear spectacular and special friend Jeffrey".
She calls him a "legend" and says "I am so proud of you".
The financier was still under house arrest for his 2008 conviction when the email exchange was sent.

Ignoring the money she took and questionable business arrangements, ignoring Andrews behaviour even (that's in another thread). How can any woman, who knows this man is trafficking young girls, act like this?

Please tell me she no longers receives any sort of public funding/housing from the tax payer?

That article is unbelievable. AMW is clearly thicker than a very thick thing, he was completely led by the nose by Epstein and this Stern person( and heaven knows who else) . Only someone very dim, with absolutely no self awareness and a huge level of entitlement could be so gullible, thinking these people were paying for you to whiz around the world, and cultivating your presence because of your fabulous personality and amazing business acumen.

I thought SF was naive and greedy, seems AMW was cut from the same cloth. Did no one working for the RF not advise them, or did the pair of them just ignore any advice they were given.

Exactly right: dim, extremely entitled, indulged and no self-awareness. That is AMW. And F transformed into that too. I think she started out dim and added on the other attributes after she married AMW.

This stuck sentence out for me from the Guardian article, among the other piles of shit these people were involved in - all in it to keep making more and more money, cashing in on their titles which somehow was magical to publishers, rich investors, the like, and all without an honest days work.

There had long been a trusting relationship between Stern, the prince and Ferguson, often referred to as F in correspondence about sensitive matters. “PA has asked me to see a guy who has access to Nigeria oil and when selling it to China (or somebody else) F can make around $6m,” Stern wrote to Epstein in September 2010.

Fergie probably couldn't believe her luck when she became involved with Andrew. He offered the lifestyle she always wanted. Probably she thought she was destined to live in luxury for the rest of her life.

Her problem was that she couldn't adapt to changing circumstances so begged, borrowed and stole money to feed her greed. Now her grifting as finally caught up with her.

This is far from the fairy tale of marrying a prince!

I don"t think he is Duke of york all his titles are no longer.

He is still the Duke of York and he is still in the line of succession

They say he won’t ‘use’ duke ( he has been struck from some folderol ‘roll’) but legally he still is.

We are told it needs an act of parliament to remove it and the remaining realms need to agree. So what ? Good practice for when the realms remove the lot of them .

He isn't the DoY he is in line but he isn't the DoY.

Ukisgaslit · 06/02/2026 19:45

He is duke until there is an act of parliament.

Ukisgaslit · 06/02/2026 19:53

If you read carefully reports will often say ‘no longer known as a duke’

That is not the same as not being a duke .

But I’m more concerned that reports are coming from files in the US out that Epstein was advising Elizabeth Windsor on her investments?

The Windsors are all up to their necks in this

I don’t have any support for Andrew or Sarah. By all accounts, Andrew is beyond odious.

But I just don’t understand this Epstein stuff at all. So confusing. Did Andrew not have some sort of security people or didn’t his office/staff know what he was doing and where? Surely the first rule of being a paedo is to keep no records. Why would they email about it? Was Epstein in it for the blackmail or power? Why did he want these things if henwas swimming in money. What the fuck is the matter with Ghialaine Maxwell - she also had loads of money. Why would she procure young girls for filthy men to have sex with? Why did she clearly love Epstein? What was the point in “killing” Epstein if he had millions of files of proof anyway.

horrible and strange

I agree, it's really confusing!

Ghislaine Maxwell didn't have money - the family was left high and dry when their father died in disgrace. If you read about her she used her connections to get by and she wound up with Epstein who gave her the high life. They were obviously all arrogant and in those days probably thought if they deleted emails they would never be found. Epstein also kept evidence to blackmail people. His financial life was extremely shady - it's really hard to understand how he ended up with so much money.

Epstein made his money (and possibly also getting funded by later on) as some sort of an investment advisor for Les Wexner (owner of The Limited, Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, to name a few). Truly enormous wealth.

But you have to wonder how he got into those positions in the first place and then built such enormous wealth.

Some sort of shenanigans at JP Morgan, then set himself up c mid 80s as an independent wealth management firm, with a threshold of wealth of £1bn or more.

This is I think one of the first articles about him. From before the conviction

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2003/03/jeffrey-epstein-200303

It mentions that one of his clients was convinced he was involved in managing the assets of the Queen

The Talented Mr. Epstein

Lately, Jeffrey Epstein’s high-flying style has been drawing oohs and aahs: the bachelor financier lives in New York’s largest private residence, claims to take only billionaires as clients, and flies celebrities including Bill Clinton and Kevin Spacey...

Just saw a trailer for this

https://www.tiktok.com/@itv/video/7602011215795064086

Natalie Dormer as Sarah Ferguson is extremely generous casting. She actually said she won't promote this after the Epstein revelations.

Id wondered why channel 5 were trailing a documentary on Jane Andrews

I think she would put herself in any situation where she can sponge money and attention. Both her and Andrew are literal pigs in throughs

They, literally, aren't 'literal pigs'.

Keepin’ it proper
The rest of the Yorks are keeping a relatively low profile at the moment - on account of Andrew being a right royal perv and all that.
Sarah Ferguson, in particular, must be finding it quite hard. She’s not exactly known for being demure and flying under the radar. Back in the day Duchess Ferg used to wear a gold necklace with the letters GM on it.
When questioned about it she said it was a present from her father Ronald Ferguson - and that the ‘GM’ in question stood for Ginger Minge.

Yes, and there are a lot of commentators asking if the Brits can arrest a full royal over his involvement with Epstein why cant America do the same with Trump et all.

Lalgarh · 20/02/2026 10:28

Well the full royal thing is interesting.

would they have dared to arrest him if the files had been released earlier and he'd not yet had his titles removed

I’m wondering if the titles were removed for just that reason.

ThePoshUns · 20/02/2026 10:34

I think so, I think they knew what was coming and stripped him in advance of that.

She’s apparently just spent a month in a wellbeing centre in Switzerland, £13,000 a day! WTF did she have the money to do that?
Then went on to Dubai.
(It’s in the Telegraph today)

This is the woman with nowhere to live on her uppers apparently. That money would have paid her rent for a few years.

I read that. Can it be possibly true ?
The woman who is supposedly homeless and almost penniless.
Who is bankrolling her ?
I am conscious that she has recently had cancer and I don’t want to add to the pile on but it does beggar belief.

ThePoshUns · 22/02/2026 08:51

Some dodgy Sheik I would guess?

GottaKeepItClassy · 22/02/2026 09:02

She will have got another ‘loan’, probably from an extremely wealthy man in the Middle East.

Why change the habit of a lifetime!
