How bizarre to get so worked up about this…..

How bizarre to film and post this dance. Just seemed dull and boring. A not very good dance in a field, who cares.

Actually I should have been clearer, it was more the people who were saying, 'if Meghan posted that she would be roasted', but in hindsight we know Meghan would never post anything remotely classy. Meghans' latest attempt just proves that again. I don't think crass or tacky even begin to describe her video's, they are beyond distasteful.

Edited

You sound quite concerned about what they are doing... surely it's up to them.

I hardly think dancing with your husband is beyond distasteful. That's a bit strong!

Their choice, if they want to dance around, they can, Meghan doesn't have to be 'classy' to suit you!

It’s the emulating that’s rubbish, she’s always copying people, probably trying to look ‘better than them’ …. Sadly for her she looks desperate, fake and pathetic

What makes you think anyone is concerned ? and why do you even care if some random on the internet has an opinion on their PR?

In my view, it is distasteful because her ass is hanging out, again 😀 and Harry looks totally out of it, again 😀

BigWillyLittleTodger · 17/01/2026 15:48

What an absolute cringe fest 😂, Harry’s face at the beginning, you can tell he’s thinking how the fuck has my life come to this? I almost feel sorry for him, the whole thing is so utterly fake, they remind me of those Facebook couples always declaring their love for the public and the “likes” when in fact they really can’t stand each other. Wonder how many takes it took, and it’s really mean of them to name a tripod after their daughter.

Kitterkitkat · 17/01/2026 15:50

@Supporterofwomensrights I like it too when people are direct and appear to be ethical and supportive of causes using their platform.

I can't take to 'spinny' soft focus recordings from either Catherine nor Meghan. Catherine is probably still in recovery from cancer however, although I'd rather hear how bluntly bad it is going through it. If someone says that it's shit you listen.

bluedancingtwiglet · 17/01/2026 11:08

Maybe they are practising for the opening event of Invictus?

Is there ice skating at Invictus? maybe the pair of them could open the ceremony with their own version of Bolero?

CurlewKate · 17/01/2026 16:00

If we’re comparing videos, frankly I think showing off your stonking great sapphire in a video reminding us about the beauty and lessons of nature is pretty distasteful…..

simpsonthecat · 17/01/2026 16:02

I've only seen the video once, but I never saw her 'arse' hanging out. But there again, I'm not studying it
Yes, it's daft, but it's up to them.

One thing... it's given certain posters lots to talk about because the insults about them are flying thick and fast! No point posting here saying yeah, don't particularly like it but it's up to them if they want to dance around looking daft! It's not hurting anyone.

Enjoy!

Bigcat25 · 17/01/2026 16:06

Such prodigious talent, and they're only in their forties! Perhaps they be ready to sing Skinamarinky Dinky Dinky Dinky with my kid at his next school concert.

What? A ring bought in the 80s that’s a meaningful family heirloom? Please. I’d much rather Catherine wear a recycled ring with history and sentiment than drop thousands on a flashy new one that gets reset and redesigned every five minutes.

Fair enough. Just thought it was a jarring note. But then I thought the whole video was a bit saccharine and patronising- I hate it when the super rich and privileged try to be relatable.

Thedom · 17/01/2026 16:20

I think Meghan might have outdone Catherine in the stonking ring department, a collective show of stonking diamonds around the Majhong table.

I don’t think Meghan will ever be happy until……

Why is dancing and filming it bizarre?

Plenty of people including children post videos of themselves dancing with their husband if they are adults or friends if they are children.

Tiktok is full of them and available for anyone to see.

Who is she copying? I mean its their dance after all?

And these social media trends/ challenges are just a bit of fun..again who is she copying? She is just joining in on something.

Where is her arse hanging our feel free ro screnshot it, she is wearing shirts and I didnt see her arse hanging out .... not sure why you need to make stuff up 🤔

MrsLeonFarrell · 17/01/2026 16:28

I don't think it's bizarre for an influencer to film a video that jumps on an ongoing Instagram trend. Lots and lots of celebrities are posting similar things. Of course they don't all get in the media because The Mail can't monetise them for clicks!

Lunde · 17/01/2026 16:43

Thedom · 17/01/2026 10:25

I think it’s meant to recreate their 2016 choreographed wedding dance, cringeworthy.

They weren't even dating in January 2016 though - didn't get married until May 2018

She clearly copies Catherine, Diana, Vic Beckham, Pamela Anderson, Martha Stewart …. I’m sure the list goes on and on …

Lunde · 17/01/2026 16:48

When this first popped up on my feed this morning I thought it was faked with AI as it looked so odd - although someone (X? possibly) has set it to the Benny Hill theme - which, weirdly, works really well

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 17/01/2026 16:48

Of my 6yo filmed this, it would just be of the legs, wobbly, and swerving to the grass and the phone would be dropped 😂😂😂😂

CurlewKate · 17/01/2026 16:50

For clarity, I have no problem with the ring per se. I love jewels. I just think it was inappropriate in this particular context.

I don't see anyone getting 'worked up'. That's another version of 'you're so invested' or 'living rent free in your head'. The aim is to make people defensive and start a bun fight.

It's not like some long lens camera happened to capture these two 'dancing' around their garden in a spontaneous show of lurve, as one does. They/she actively chose to post this video on social media. So comments are to be expected. If she didn't want that, she could, you know, not have posted a video on social media. Complete with dubious story about the camerawork.

That was my first thought.
