Yes and threatened she could use her privilege to destroy her business, Jessica then alluded to her relationship with MM, using it as a 'get out of jail' card and , no doubt, putting more pressure on the influencer. I guess Meghan didn't want to be exposed as having a racist bully as a best friend, (a racist husband was enough, I suppose)

Yes, sorry, I knew that, but what was it she did to MM specifically? They were such close friends, you would think that would count for something.

If MM knew JM to be the person she seemed from this exchange, why were they friends in the first place? Why was JM given a prominent role in her wedding?

And if she didn’t recognise her as that person, knowing all they had been through together, where was her loyalty to her best friend?

Did she not accuse JM of using her to promote herself? Meghan would never use anyone to further her ambitions .

You asked about people you WORKED with in 2016 - so I will ask you AGAIN did you purposefully leave out family and friends because you know that you can’t defend MM’s icing out / falling out with almost her entire family and friends from 2016?

How many people cut people off when brexit happened ao many threads on here about how they couldn't believe their feiend, family members thought a certin way they didnt agree with and therefore didnt want people who shared those views in their lives.

These were people they had known for a long time.

You can know someone sure be close with then and then they go and do something and it can chnage how you then feel about them and whether you want to continue a relationship with them.

Taylor Swift cuts ppl off the moment that person is in the press for something negative she distances herself and cuts them off to protect her image no doubt cant be associated with them anymore well at least not publicly.

Eugene has just cut herself off from Andrew...why..that is her Dad after all and why now...protecting her image doesnt want to be associated it with all the awful stuff coming out about him.

You might know someone for many yrs be close with them but you can never truly know them just the version you get.

I suspect JM is absolutely as equally a nasty piece of work as MM - can just imagine the both of them running around Toronto together in their hideously dated and trashy clothes being a pair of mean girls believing they were classy Queen Bees.

My take is that MM knew what JM was like but was fine with it. You can’t spend that much time with someone and not know how they treat others.

Yes that’s a very astute point. Most of the Hollywood A list and RF have cut off H&M as they don’t want to be associated with their brittle, grandiose, delusional, negative ramblings which will tarnish their own brands.

Most people have swerved H&M.

The only people relatively close are OW etc who see H&M exclusively as an investment commodity to keep warm so they can cash in and have first dibs on the divorce interview.

I have "ex" friends yes. Just as most people do.

I couldn't care less about Meghan as a person..but she's perfectly entitled to drop people as and when she likes, just as we all are...

Of course some friendships die out over time.

But some last, for most people - by the time they are in their 40s - their friends are a mix of old and new and different jobs / hobbies / interests

I've lost loads of friends since 2016. That's what having a chronic illness which means you cancel on plans last minute does to your friend group.

I don't think it's fair to judge Meghan for not keeping in touch with people, even those she appeared to be close to. The world of celebrities is very transactional and from the outside we have no idea of the truth of what went on behind the scenes.

I’m not saying it’s not true, but how do we know about any of the RF or pseudo-RF’s friends? The only one I can remember anything about is the Queen, with her Queen’s Companions, who are her pre-Queen long term women friends. My hard Republican heart briefly softened a little when I heard about them! Who are Anne’s friends, for example?

Honestly? Pretty much all of them. Also added some more. I tend not to make friends with people I'm not planning to stay in touch with.

Anne doesn't make NF series about what an amazing hostess she is, or post Insta stories about all her twee little ways of making her house guests happy. Why would we know anything about her friends? She hasn't made them into a commodity.

However, Meghan has made a 'brand' all about friendship. So it follows that people would wonder about the veracity of these 'friendships'.

Fair enough. Just that if I was her friend, I wouldn’t want to be featured in her SM, considering the negative attention it gets! So I don’t see how we can make any assumptions.

I dont see Kate and her friends...does she have any? Haven't seen Carole and Kate snapped together in what feels like more than a user last time I recall is the one where they were in the car.

What about Pippa used to see her alot with Kate, now virtually nothing has she fallen out with her too?

That doesn't mean Kate has no friends and it doesnt mean she has iced out her mum or fallen out with her sister either.

Prior to this its been a very long time though since we had heard anything which is my point ....probably wont hear anything for a long time now either but just because we dont hear about them hanging out together doesn't mean it doesnt happen. Do you think Carole hasn't seen Kate since thay car picture and this bday event which is about 1.5yrs apart.....really?
