That’s the whole point. She’s talking about “reflecting on the chapters of your life” through ornaments, while also being the person who publicly cut off, criticised, and distanced herself from nearly everyone who appeared in those chapters.
That’s where the irony comes in. She’s spent years saying how toxic, damaging, and unbearable that life was (so unbearable she had to move across the world to escape it) yet now she’s playing merry hostess on a self promoting show, talking about nostalgic reflections tied to the very people she threw under the bus, all whilst trying to hawk her merchandise and promote her brand.
It’s the performance of happy family memories after loudly insisting those memories were so traumatising she had to escape from them. That contradiction is what people find amusing.
Of course, it’s fine if you don’t (or choose not to) see it. But plenty of viewers and professional writers have noticed, including The Independent. Their piece isn’t even a review or critique, just a bland run through of the show, yet even they couldn’t resist flagging this glaringly ironic moment.
