Some people lose their appetites when they are very stressed.
I've had people say to me "oh I wish I didn't eat when I was stressed".
Honestly, I'd rather not have the ball of anxiety in my belly. When you are already slim it doesn't take much to dip under your natural healthy weight.

She wore the same dress in Boston in 2022. I'd say she's slightly slimmer now than she was then (having seen photos from 2022 and 2025 next to each other) but think of everything she's been through in the intervening time. Don't forget the cancer was found after she'd had an operation on her stomach that meant she was in hospital for almost 2 weeks, I think. That's virtually unheard of and it seems likely that she has digestive problems of some kind.

Having had Cancer at the same time as poor Kate .I think she is doing remarkably well .20 months on I still feel remarkably tired. and still feel anxious as I have regular check ups at our incredible local hospital . She looks remarkably well and has always been slim and willowy .

I agree that women, or anyone, should not have their bodies discussed and analysed by strangers on the internet. But, I saw her and thought of Diana and her weight and how unhappy she was and how everyone ignored it. I hope Kate is ok.

I weight 42kg, my BMI is under 16. I do not have an eating disorder. I have a health condition that affects my weight and causes a constant issue in maintaining the weight I am and not losing more. But I’m sure if I was famous, there’d be people confidently stating how I definitely have anorexia.

She’s extremely ill. You can see all the bumps on sternum. She has no bottom. She wears a wiglet with hair extensions and her head (not including her fake hair) is bigger than her waist.

She is smaller than her 8 year old daughter. You can see the ligaments and tendons in her arms.

I refuse to be gaslit into thinking that she portrays a healthy, idealised version of a woman.

When people used to post about VB having an eating disorder years ago it did not go down well until VB spoke about it herself. People quite rightly were protective over VB’s right to not speak out on her private business.

If Kate happens to have similar issues then the same applies to her. If she has private issues leading to her weight being what it is then she is entitled to keep them private.

To be clear, my point here isn’t that there’s anything wrong with having an eating disorder vs any other illness.

My point is that no one can diagnose someone based on pictures. Maybe she has an eating disorder, maybe she has the same condition as me, maybe it’s weight loss from the cancer, maybe she’s perfectly fine.
