Online, people are pointing out that a very expensive cashmere jumper that Meg wore on suits, also made its way to her wardrobe

It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

I'm quite sure if Meghan had contacted the designer and said how much she loved the dress and she wanted to buy it, the designer would likely have given her a big discount or outright given her the dress. It would work to their benefit to have it seen on a major celeb again (in a positive light, instead of this negative/was it stolen).

Or just buy it - it was £1300 - that's pocket change to the Sussexes.

This constant need to to try to clap back any slightly critical article is why things get worse for them. I can understand why the KP/BP press offices couldn't work with them.

Thanksgiving was about 35 to 40% more expensive when I compared to last year. Everything is up! The chatter all around was how expensive things are and how lots of people are only getting gifts for the kids.

It is giving grim signals for retailers targeting the average household this holiday season.

In this light, I am not sure how M's mass-tige pricing strategy makes sense. Those at the top would get real luxury, the middle is squeezed, and the low end can't afford it.

As ever, Meghan is about a decade behind trend.

People either want real luxury, if they can afford it, or they want value. "As Ever" is neither. Lifestyle brands are very 2009.

Soho House would be a good customer for the candles as they could light them in their cozy common rooms and also place them in the hotel rooms to promote. It feels like the products are better placed at Soho House than at a bookshop.

Absolutely agree.

Even worse, with the green dress fiasco, various content creators will be watching the holiday show to play spot the "royally archived" items.

Anyone advising M, would tell her to re-shoot any scenes with clothing of questionable provenance.

Did I not read that the candles don’t have wicks ?

tired sloth GIF

Meghan has added a little bookmark to her package for the bookshop " fell asleep here" in her calligraphy. That's a wee bit funny.

Yes and unfortunately featured this illustration by Charlie mackesy ( yes him who did the bespoke Christmas illustration for Catherine’s Christmas carol cards) but unfortunately didn’t credit him and now her fans are praising her for her illustrations!

For someone with an apparently “freakish attention to detail” how unfortunate she left the credit to the artist out, one could think it was deliberate and that she wanted her fans to think it was all her own work….…. 🤔

Yes very unfortunate! And as yet hasn’t corrected this mistake.

NewAgeNewMe · 29/11/2025 16:52

Surely not 🤔

jeffgoldblum · 29/11/2025 16:55

If anyone is interested this is the design he did for Catherine.

Of all the artists in all the world……..she had to pick one Catherine has used.

Purely coincidental I’m sure.

Such a wannabe

sequinpanties · 29/11/2025 17:18

Surprised she didn't steal one of these

The key phrase in that article is "needless PR mistakes". All the examples are avoidable if they would listen to advice and realise they are in no way special or above other celebrities. They are C list behaving as if they are A list

So her stealing stuff isn't limited to clothes 🙄

No sadly, the catalogue is long ! And includes ….ideas …..experiences ……quotes……backstories….etc

AtIusvue · 29/11/2025 18:16

In the P6 article, it’s said she took ALL the clothing items from the Variety shoot.

Again lilis hair was unkempt - at some point later her hair been pulled back into an unfinished plait ( no hair tie) when she’s next to the food though.

You knew you were taking her to a kitchen, why not tie her hair up?

Crikey - take pot shots at a small child's hair, why doncha...

Do you look yourself squarely in the mirror much?

She’s talking to the parents, not the child.

Spectre8 · 29/11/2025 18:41

Remember a few weeks back Kate went to a food place and used her hands to tie up her hair and then touched food without washing them...Wonder where all the outrage was then...
