It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

But it’s not because of “doing bad stuff” it’s about modernising the monarchy and only working members who represent the country and our government having royal titles, as a self proclaimed republican surely you should want the titles removed? I find it very strange you reduce it to titles only being removed because of bad behaviour, so that must mean you think all non working royals should keep their titles? Or as I suggested in my earlier post, you want them all removed apart from the Sussesxes?

Megs wreath looks crap. They haven’t even shown a close up shot like they did with the two friends wreaths.

What’s she’s done is use eucalyptus with traditional fir and it doesn’t work. There’s huge gapping and looks out of shape. It looks loose, as the friend says.

There’s a pretty dry piece about it in The Independent. It doesn’t really have an opinion, just goes over what happens in the show. But even they point out the irony of Meghan talking about Christmas trees “encapsulating your family story” when she’s estranged from her dad and Harry’s cut off from his birth family. It’s painfully cringe to watch her set herself up like that. If she meant it as a dig, she’s ended up being the joke herself.

I am beginning to wonder if M is actually trying to embarrass the RF so much they’ll do anything to shut her up. I really do think that’s her agenda now.

Meg makes gumbo for Xmas Eve as her tradition . She’s says her mum has done it for years now (since 2020?) I’m guessing a relatively new tradition. She doesn’t mention having it as a kid etc.

To be fair to Meghan lots of Americans I know use Happy Holidays rather than Christmas because it encompasses all the different holidays in December. She is aiming at the American market so it makes sense.

I'm not sure if she was set up or just ignored advice. I wonder if it all shift any As Ever stock?

The problem is it was obviously filmed in 2024 when American Riviera Orchard was her brand. So I am guessing no chance to showcase her As Ever products and generate interest.

As an aside: I have never seen sweets in a Christmas cracker!

Also, I’m not sure where she got her info of how to make wreaths but neither of the wreaths look great- Megs is by far the worst

They use a wire ring but dont use moss to pad out the shape. It’s just straight onto the flat wire frame. Which is why in the millisecond shot of Megs, you could see the wire through gapping and all the wreaths are completely flat.
There’s nothing to anchor the foliage bundles to …it’s just negative space and thin wire. She actually says at the end, this shows you don’t need a professional to do it….clearly Meg does.

So anybody watching it, who hasn’t made a wreath before- is what watching someone giving the worst advice on how to make a wreath. Using moss is the foundation of the whole wreath!
