The royal family

As ever, WLM, PR disasters continued

Online, people are pointing out that a very expensive cashmere jumper that Meg wore on suits, also made its way to her wardrobe

It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

There Is a lot of public discontent about the Yorks and the Sussex’s holding and using British Royal titles. Andrew and Sarah have rightfully lost theirs, I do think now those two are out of the way, the pressure will be on to remove the titles of the non working Royals. The Danish example is repeatedly being referred to as a good example of modernizing the monarchy, that was a very popular move with the Danish public.

I think the Yorks and the Sussex’s would gain a lot of credibility if they voluntarily gave up their titles so they can work however they wish.

We have Harry bleating on about his self professed ‘life of service’ at a 20minute paid for gig at a downmarket event, immediately post his wife declaring herself herself a ‘founder’ of a jam outlet.

No problem at all. I thought I had made that clear! I just don’t think the wholesale clear out will happen.

So I take it you accept the Sussexes should have their titles removed, even if you don't think it's going to happen.

Asked what made a good leader the prince left the crowd guessing: 'We know what it's not right? We have a very good demonstration of exactly what it isn't.'

What would his ideal Toronto community look like if he were able to design it?
'Well, it wouldn't be in the city. I'm not a huge fan of cities,' he told the roomful of professionals dedicated to developing and selling urban real estate. 'I do better in the outdoors.'

Does he do any prep for his talks?

The Telegraph have an article that claims Harry criticised Meghan's coming in a toast. I hope that isn't true, it seems mean even for him, but not prepared to either pay the Telegraph or watch the programme to find out.

AtIusvue · 03/12/2025 10:41

So she’s skipping through a Xmas tree farm…which is Lane farms …… the same place she took the kids for the pumpkin patch. Concrete ground wirh hay strewn all over.

She must have a deal with them or something.

If you can link it I can archive it.

Don’t see the gas station signage in the background though…aww the neon would have given a festive touch.

Shes telling us you put lights on the tree on the inside and baubles on the outside….ok

Meghan- ‘Christmas trees encapsulates your family story’ …so I’m guessing this tree will be burned to the ground

She says a tree is part of her memory of the holiday season….which is on par with Matt Goss and this classic "The letters H, O, M, E are so important because they personify the word home".

"Later, Harry revealed that his aversion to photography extends to his pets – one of his favorite things, he shared, is walking his black Labrador, Pula. But when enchanted Americans ask if they can take a picture of her his response is, 'No. No you can't.'
'Being seen and heard is the most important thing for people,' he said at one point."

I've not bothered to quote the life of service drivel.

At this point I'm wondering if he is doing a Joaquin Phoenix type performance art piece entitled "Prince Irrelevant".

"Christmas trees are “able to really encapsulate your family story”, she says. “You really feel the passage of time and the different chapters of your life through the ornaments.” But I’m not sure how going non-contact with your father, moving 5,000 miles away from Britain because your husband hates his entire family, and then giving a bombshell interview accusing your in-laws of being racists, can be conveyed in baubles. Perhaps an angel tree-topper in the shape of Oprah Winfrey?"

At this point I just feel sad for her. She tries so hard but just sets herself up for side remarks every time she opens her mouth.

She’s says time to take the apron off to meet our guest.

Which is weird….didnt she recently say, to greet guests in an apron to let them know we are all in this together or something?

I thought her blink and you miss it time in the UK was traumatic for her so why would she want reminded ?

BasiliskStare · 03/12/2025 11:06

I just peeped at the hanging up decorations - which encapsulate your family story. (IN my defence I've got some copper bottomed shit going on at the moment so any excuse for mindlessness 😁 ) From what I can see all thse decorations are matching and generic ( except the guy one. ) My tree has stuff from donkeys years ago , collected on holidays , presents from others , some were my pils . I am not partial to a matchy matchy tree , but , as ever , other opinions are available. 🌲

AtIusvue · 03/12/2025 11:07

They have somehow managed to to make crackers about feeling ‘connected’ and about ‘community’ Ffs

Also, she says everyone crosses arms and pulls at the same time. I’m sure some folks do that but that’s don’t a bloody rule Meghan

That's how I was feeling as I read the article.

And the bit you quoted about Harry and refusing photos of the dog - can you imagine his comments if any other RF members behaved like that?
And it's not the difference between 'working' and 'non-working' - any normal person could have someone ask to photograph a cute pet.

AtIusvue · 03/12/2025 11:10

She’s putting in dried flowers as confetti for the crackers! 😂

We don’t even do confetti…:never mind the bloody dried flowers again!
