It’s a cameo . Wonder how she will be listed in the credits ?

Of course, people are talking about her connection to Jeff Bezos and the fact she's chosen to star in an Amazon film, but there are very few big players in town and she has two of them - Netflix and Amazon.

My questions - is she “starring” in an Amazon film - I thought it was a cameo?

And in what way does she “have” Netflix and Amazon? 🤔

IMHO the only reason she has that NF first look deal is because they want the inside scoop in the event of a possible future divorce. The same with Oprah.

NormaMajors1992coat · 16/11/2025 10:45

Yikes, imagine if your most important professional relationships were all based on the expectation that your marriage will fail 😬

No doubt helped along by the Vanity Fair piece claiming Meghan’s team had “a conversation with a publishing house to gauge interest” in a book about her life “post-Harry divorce.”

😬

I've no idea if that was true or not, EmpressSisi, and don't suppose Harry has either, but the main thing that struck me when it appeared was what it may have done to his clearly addled mind Confused

Omg I forgot about that. I sincerely hope that isn’t true.

That might have been the point, of course 😬

I'm reading that Meghan's first husband said she would definitely " close" the deal with Harry when he heard about her dating him.

OP posts:
BasiliskStare · 17/11/2025 20:33

I read that too @ozarina Who knows but he probably knows her well. I also believe he is happily remarried and has been quiet about MM. I think he is financially secure and has been on the whole very quiet about her. He seems to have no reason to criticise her and he isn't here either .

But this is is what I read . It may be rubbish , it may not .

Meanwhile, someone thinks Harry is 'more measured' and 'at ease', while Meghan is 'more forthcoming' and 'a world leader'.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 18/11/2025 06:11

‘A world leader’? Hilarious. She can’t even choose an outfit!

This for interest. I think Tina Brown is a well respected and connected journalist / editor / author. I don't agree with everything but interesting how she thinks M has made so many missteps. I am not sure at the moment Harry would be as welcome back as she says but anyway. Honestly I think H should take a long hard look at himself. But not for me to say , actually he doesn't need to if he' doing what he wants to do . They are feted and celebrated at the moment and I am sure they are not short of money in any real terms , not even by their standards. I was more interested in TB's opinion that MM has made more mistakes than you could shake a stick at.

Harry must find a way back to England, says Diana's friend Tina Brown

Ms Brown, a friend of Harry's mother who was editor-in-chief of Tatler and Vanity Fair, believes the Sussexes are failing due to Meghan's persistently poor judgment.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 18/11/2025 18:38

I think even Tina Brown knows Harry is finished as a working Royal going by this comment from her.

I think that William is going to be the decider of that, and I think William has a very tough view of the whole situation, which is that the betrayal of Harry is not something that can be remedied'.

I don’t think they’ll ever reach the level of success and public adoration they’re chasing, not as a united front anyway.

If Harry wanted to revive his golden boy status, he’d have to distance himself from Meghan and return to the UK looking suitably repentant. The public would eventually rally around him as Diana’s son, and the palace could easily frame him as the wide eyed innocent swept up by a more calculating partner (assuming William ever agreed to let him back in).

Meghan’s PR path would be much tougher. She’d have to go nuclear, casting Harry as an absent or abusive partner while painting herself as the one holding the whole mess together. But in a head to head PR battle, the palace machinery would crush anything she could mount. Even their most dramatic claims about the royals backfired and made them look like the bad guys.

I really hope it never comes to a divorce. They do seem genuinely devoted to each other, but they’ve both shown they can be vindictive, and Meghan’s reputation for dropping people when they’re no longer useful doesn’t help her reputation (nor do the Vanity Fair rumours about post-divorce book deals.)

Hopefully they can settle into the life they’ve chosen and embrace being an unpopular but relatively comfortably duo, instead of hurling each other under the nearest bus for one last frantic attempt to haul their individual brands out of the bargain bin.

ThePoshUns · 18/11/2025 19:25

Didn’t Tina Brown write the Palace Papers? I imagine she has some solid contacts with in the Royal household.

elessar · 18/11/2025 20:30

@EmpressSisii think Harry is absolutely devoted to Meghan (actually to an unhealthy degree, to the point that he blindly believes everything she says despite any form of truth, reality or evidence provided by anyone else, even his own experience) but sadly I struggle to believe the feeling’s reciprocated by Meghan.

partly because of the way she talks about him - always in relation to herself in quite an impersonal way (“that man loves me so much” is a very revealing quote I think), partly because it feels like she’s trying too hard to convince everyone else about what a catch Harry is (“my husband’s a fox don’t you know”) and partly because her entire courtship with him feels inauthentic. They don’t have anything in common in terms of their interests, lifestyle or hobbies. He’s dim, mean spirited, stingy and nowhere near on her level in terms of physical attractiveness. What appeal could there really have been other than his royal status?

Thanks @BasiliskStare

It does increasingly feel as if the 'rehabilitate Harry' project is slowly but steadily continuing - there have been severaly stories now where the slant has been pro Harry / anti Meghan.

Whether this is real, or just the media spin for the current few months remains to be seen.

Given the string of low rated streaming projects and the negative reviews of products such as spread that failed to qualify as jam, it makes sense that as Netflix pulls back from H&M, H&M are aggressively cultivating a relationship with Bezos to try to shake money out of him.

It also shows why it is unlikely Bezos would be interested. Bezos became a billionaire by investing in profitable projects and he needs an awful lot of cash to compete in the space race against Musk. I can't see why Bezos would invest in H&M given their well-established track record of failed projects delivering a negative return on investment at both Netflix and Spotify.

I wonder how M will spin not being in the retail shops!

I expect we’ll learn shortly that shops don’t align with some random value she has just found down the back of the sofa 🤷‍♀️

It’s mind boggling that she is still plugging away at this, styling it as if it’s high-end aspirational luxury, and herself as an A lister / entrepreneur. And meanwhile NF quietly back away, nobody wants her overpriced tat and while a Kardashian party is a win, she manages to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again with a bizarre outfit that makes her look terrible, then when people laugh at her, demands photos are taken down, then when people laugh at that, blames an employee. Who was only concerned about the king’s feelings of course. How / when does she think all this is going to be a success, I wonder.. evidently not soon or she wouldn’t have had to take the cameo in that film.

They may be trying to cultivate a relationship with Bezos but they didn’t get an invitation to the wedding . If reports are true , Meghan was furious .
