Has he EVER been seen with any mates (old or new) in the 5 years he has been in California?
No night outs, no lunches, baseball games, football games etc. If he does go out, it has to be with Meg. Yet she seems to be able to meet up with her friends fine.

He's cut himself off from his country, all his family and has zero friends. Can’t imagine what his MH is like.
As if any husband wants to sit and watch a sports game with his loud wife and her newest best buddy, screeching like banshees.

Didn't the Vanity Fair article earlier this year say he had strugged to make friends in California?

Of course we don't know if that's true but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. It's pretty difficult to make real friends in middle age at the best of times, but it must be much worse in Harry's situation.

Speaking of his situation, I think it is very strange. Lots of people who marry someone from another country move to their partner's country, but rarely do they cut off almost all contact with their family and homeland. And Harry has plenty of time and money to travel back to catch up with family and friends pretty much as often as he wished. Instead, all he has is Meghan. I suspect she prefers it that way.

I was thinking just this having had a quick peek at today's updates. No friends to sidle off with and have a couple of drinks while reminiscing about your youth, school days, military service, etc, etc. It's as though he's been reborn as a middle-aged Californian with no backing group, no extended family, no secure (discreet) shoulders to lean on 😒

What going on there?

We are supposed to believe it was a spontaneous celebration at home when the LA dodgers won the series a week or so ago.

In reality it was a manufactured situation for the camera. She pressed record on her phone, left the room and then came running in waving her arms around and generally acting like a tween at a K-Pop concert.

It was all very cringeworthy.

I wonder if, just occasionally, even he wonders what the hell he's done

I think he may well have done here! 😂

Where are they here? It looks the communal lounge in an old folks' residential home ...

Reduced to knocking on doors of mates who have moved away.

😂It really does.

It’s probably the room he has been ‘allocated’. The basement maybe? 😉

I think it’s the cinema room in their mansion! Looks a bit drab and dingy doesn’t it!

Who is the woman she’s cavorting with?

AtIusvue · 09/11/2025 19:25

Harry complains that being part of the RF was like being part of the Truman show…..but is content that his wife releases cctv of them watching tv to the whole world to watch.

He’s a fruit loop.

"Sleazy" is the word, Indianrollerbird - not all of them of course, but a lot

In his old life these are people whose hands Harry would have shaken before moving on quickly, and now he's expected to look cheerful in a roomful of him because it thrills his camera-hungry, fame chasing wife

I wonder if, just occasionally, even he wonders what the hell he's done

Don't you think the say with the rest of the RF members who have to be shaking hands with despots, dictators, pedophiles and the like...sitting down at banquets with them and having dinner or events..hell they even been harbouring one of their own sleazy people..do you think they ever wonder what the hell they have done..

Yes, I don’t like it either.

And I don’t like Kate and William’s shampoo ad/trees-are-good style videos. The spontaneous roll around in the grass.

Neither appeal to me.

One video cost a million pound though, and who paid for it?

What video 'cost a million pound'? Can you be specific?

That's fine.

I'm not sure where you got one million pound cost from though. Where is that stated?

It’s from the same place as equating the rf entertaining foreign leaders and diplomats at the behest of the government to going to a birthday party of your own free will!! 🙄🤔🤪

The lack of education in this country about the role of the head of state is shocking.

Kate’s recovery video. The 3 minute one - released in 2024 . September I think. The one with the whole family frolicking in the woods, on the beach, playing cards at the Middleton home. I can’t remember where I read about the estimated million pound figure but it didn’t surprise me, as it looked like a very expensive production shot in multiple locations and would have taken days to film.

Why the need to be so rude Jeff. My post was polite. You can disagree and I have no problem with your eye roll emoji, but why the need to use an emoji indicating you think I’m crazy? It’s so unnecessary.

A quick ferret online says no information on the cost of the video was released but given its low key style costs were 'probably minimal.'

But by all means go around telling everyone it cost a million quid if it gives you pleasure.

It didn't surprise you that a 3 minute video cost a million quid?

Because that would surprise me an awful lot. It's not like they'd have had to hire actors or rent properties so it's very hard to see where the million quid would have gone.

It's a shame you can't remember where you read it as it would have been interesting to see how this nice round number was arrived at, and what sources were used to come to this definitive conclusion.
