.... With the prospect of no more title, no charities, no free mansion?

How long before she leaves the ghastly ex to wallow alone in the pile of shit he's created?

It's very unusual, isn't it? I think we can only guess that she clung on for the benefits and maybe the RF allowed it because of what she has on Andrew and possibly other RF members.

It's such a shame that she didn't fully remove herself and start an independent new life. I really wish we were reading more wholesome stories about her and maybe we would have been if she had found the courage to fully extricate herself from Andrew and the RF.

I think your impression of her is just PR spin. Tbh she doesn’t come across like that in Lownie’s book at all! If anything, she is the manipulative one, good with people, with the gift of the gab, pushy , and and he’s the crass, gauche ghastly one! And they often worked in a team to get their hands on funds.

It will be interesting to see how she procures funds now…

She was trying to latch on to Tiger Woods and Kevin Costner, I read. She wanted money and celebrity status, and will cling onto Andrew for that reason. Although now that there isn't a title, who knows....

caringcarer · 27/10/2025 10:30

I read the day before yesterday that KC offered Andrew the Castle of Mey at the very North of Scotland. Now Andrew is demanding 2 houses. He should be offered 1 house only. Frogmore has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Room for both of them to have a bedroom and sitting room and 2 bathrooms each. I'm sure an additional kitchen could be put in. He can choose to share with SF or not. She can accommodate herself from money she got from sale of £4million London home. I can't imagine W&C will want them living on their doorstep with their dodgy friends.

TheExcitersblowingupmymind · 27/10/2025 10:31

Oi oi we don't want them in Scotland 🤮

She's never bad mouthed the rf in public as far as I know. Neither Charles nor William will want any beans spilt.

Yeah. Unfortunately, in an institution with as much to hide as the RF, it’s all about not telling!

Indeed. Why punish the Scots?!

Topseyt123 · 27/10/2025 10:43

I keep thinking that it's possible she and Andrew could remarry. I've thought it almost since the day they divorced as they hardly seem to have ever split up properly really. The Queen and Prince Philip were the main objectors to that happening, I would have thought, and they are no longer around so that obstacle is out of the way even though the King is no fan of his brother.

Andrew and Fergie are well suited to one another in that they are both a pair of twats who have brought disrepute on the monarchy.

Your last paragraph 👍

I don't think there was any requirement to house Mark Phillips and he certainly wasn't as controversial as Ferguson.

Mark Phillips lives in a farmhouse on the Gatcombe Park estate doesn't he?

Gatcombe Park is privately owned by Princess Anne so not part of Crown Estates. Her personal choice whether to accommodate him there or not but I understand it was done so that he could be around for their children, Peter and Zara, who both also live in other properties there.

stillavid · 27/10/2025 10:54

I reckon the story about them wanting separate houses has been deliberately leaked by the palace so they can show Andrew the outraged response from the public and then say no dice.

Yes, it sounds like a reasonable and mature decision.

Dollymylove · 27/10/2025 10:58

I reckon he'll take up an offer from one of his wealthy middle east mates and take Fergie with him

Yes, hasn't one of his mates given him a palatial home in Dubai, or somewhere?
His kinda place.

jumpingthehighjump · 27/10/2025 11:01

Mark Phillips lives in the US. And he is not squeaky clean given he fathered a child whilst still married to Anne

I really wish we were reading more wholesome stories about her and maybe we would have been if she had found the courage to fully extricate herself from Andrew and the RF.

As for this with Sarah ⬆️ it wasn't about her finding courage to extricate herself, she never wanted to! How could she sell those ridiculous mills and boon books without being able to dress up and be filmed on a Royal Estate
She loved being part of all of that whilst trying to extricate money from anyone who had anything to do with her
She is shameless
If she wanted to extricate herself she wouldn't be poncing about with the royal family at any opportunity

CatrionaBalfour · 27/10/2025 11:05

I agree with @jumpingthehighjump . Sarah Ferguson is absolutely shameless. It's not about some dodgy paternity issue or whatever. This woman has consistently used her title and position to enhance her wealth. Worse, she's been in a very deep friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, even after his initial conviction. Her cash for access is just another example.
I don't know how she's got away with all of this.

waitamo · 27/10/2025 11:12

They got away with it because of enablement. It's still happening IMV since no decisive action has been taken yet, and what has happened was a total snowjob.

They have the goods on the rest of them. None of whom have clean hands IMO, and I can say that because the secrecy surrounding their wealth, wills and assets is not good. Transparency is what's needed but that will never happen.

If and when decisive action is taken, without PR spin and other protective shenanigans, there is another threat to the rest of them...... A + S could spill the beans in book after book and revelation after revelation. So there's the dilemma. That's my reading of it anyway.

Surely in his bed…have they ever broken up?

Yes this is my view too. SF has been allowed to gurn her way through Christmas and live with Andrew for some reason. If they aren't all shit scared of what a person who shags trafficked teenagers and his grasping and indebted ex wife have to reveal about them, then why is it?

Totally agree that these people, with riches and opportunities beyond most of our wildest hopes and dreams, could all live much happier and productive lives if they had put their privileges to good use for others.

Agree with the point above about enablement! One of the bits of information I found most revolting about Andrew in the book was that some idiot made him patron of the royal ballet, and he asked protection offers to seek out the prettiest girls to visit him or attend events.

This was not written about in the British press at the time! No one spoke up! Not even for the protection of those young dancers. Because a royal wanted his way!

The deference for the royal family is sickening at times! Even if you type ‘Prince Andrew and the Royal Ballet’ in to a search engine, it’s mainly Australian articles that pop up! Parts of the British press have drunk the kool aid and as for Rory Stewart saying that there are “more important” things to discuss than women’s safety? I despair!

You might want to read Christine Keeler’s autobio & stage door alleged visits of DofE at clubs, twas ever thus.

One of issues with PA is that he was raised with societal norms for his class that were tolerated 80 years ago. This & the modern world making it much harder to get away with louche or dishonest behaviour. No one cares about the ‘tarts’ just be a bit careful.

Yes, Charles needs to keep Ferguson happy for this reason, to keep a lid on all the relationship, health and financial gossip about the family members.
