Yes they do, but I think they like to go ‘off script’.

RedSuedePump · 11/10/2025 07:50

they really need to stop persuing / accepting these sort of awards. Absolutely nothing they have done over the past 12 months is worth a title/award like this and it just makes them look foolish accepting it! massively dents their credibility and that can't be good for their ambitions. it's embarrassing!

Letmeoutodhere · 11/10/2025 07:53

Perhaps their PR people have walked again.

Why on earth would you wish your spouse "Happy World Mental Health Day"?! on sm?
That's just bizarre.

so odd, it’s not hallowe’en or thanksgiving. So tone deaf.

God, yes. She's a trad wife, he's a.... I'm not sure, but they certainly haven't been devoting much time to "humanitarian" efforts....

Especially as Harry has very well documented serious mental health problems.

Well, yes. Collecting a 'prize' no-one has heard of is a tad embarrassing, and just comes across as desperate for attention.

It's like wishing an alcoholic 'Happy alcohol awareness day'

It's just incredibly insensitive and inappropriate.

After receiving the Humanitarian Award, Meghan has wished Harry Happy World Mental Health Day on Instagram, because he always makes her laugh.

I really try to be fair to Meghan but it did jar, why not shine a light on a mental health charity instead of posting behind the scenes footage of yourselves at an award? It isn't Christmas.

WTAF? This is utterly ridiculous. I am convinced something isn’t right between them now.

And draws further attention to Harry's problems.
Maybe that's the point 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s incredibly unkind. Also wishing someone ‘happy mental health day’ is trivialising it.

Bizarre.
Would you wish someone a Happy Bereaved Parents’ Day ?
Utterly tone deaf .

Isn't it just - as if it's just another celebration day in the calendar! I just don't get that mindset. It's something to celebrate? No, it's something to engage awareness and perhaps act on it, in a meaningful way. Like Prince William.

ThePoshUns · 11/10/2025 08:54

Can you imagine wishing someone ‘happy breast cancer awareness day’ knowing they’d had treatment for it?

I totally agree.
Especially when the image chosen to mark it is a video of the pair of them giggling about something.

MaturingCheeseball · 11/10/2025 09:18

I agree it’s an unfortunately tasteless message.

Their right and proper award would be “Cringe-atarians of the Year” (and unchallenged winners for last five years).

That is probably why she did it. Because of what William did. It’s just more “look at me” stuff

Giggling at the people stupid enough to think they should be awarded as humanitarians, probably.

She is do appallingly tone deaf it beggars belief. And yet the accolades pour in. She’s off to some “women of influence” event next 🙄 .

Ugh, I hope this is not some kind of message that they are laughing at William crying.

MaturingCheeseball · 11/10/2025 09:27

Yes, read she’s next off to a Women in Business awards in Washington I think.

And Markus Anderson was accompanying her in Paris as well as to the Humanitarian awards. I think there’s been another pivot: As Ever down the (jam) pan and a return to fashion stuff - with the old Soho House crew.

I've absolutely no idea why she is considered to be an entrepreneur, a woman of influence, or a business woman? It's baffling.

White label goods shill of the year! If only she’d shifted enough units to make her a billionaire!
