The Parents Network. Set up around 5-6 years ago by parents who lost their children to suicide. All of the children had been using the internet for one thing or another. H&M became involved with them around 2 years ago. H&M's input has been to create a discussion forum via Archwell and an art installation which was only up for 24 hours as far as I can tell.

Surely the parents who set it up should receive the accolade? Humanitarian of the Year sounds a bit of a stretch for H&M really.

It seems like this is just a I hate Harry and Megan thread. Riveting 🙄🥱

So sorry you have no arguments or talking points to make it more riveting.

Absolutely. But they are not famous and therefore not important.

Contrast with actual royalty, which serves to highlight the work of ordinary citizens, and honours them, not the other way round. As demonstrated amply this week by Charles, Sophie, Catherine and William.

Did anyone see the interview Prince William did with Rhian Mannings? An ordinary woman, faced with terrible tragedy, but wanting to support others and improve their lives.
It moved me to tears, as it did William.

Honestly, I don't know how that woman is still standing. Such strength! You could tell William was bowled over by her.

The Royal Foundation is giving £1m to funding a National Suicide Prevention Network, that will include Rhian's charity, 2Wish.

Baital · 10/10/2025 21:52

Watching the footage of them arriving, she did the adoring look twice. It looked rather staged and 'out of nowhere', they weren't interacting.

But maybe she does adore him.

As I said elsewhere yet again the gods have conspired against them - Covid, LA fires etc. This time it's only a peace settlement in the Middle East 😂 ouch !

Aside from this I see this event was not a grand scale event. I've seen the photos of the room. Tickets were still on sale yesterday for this event.

  1. Trailblazer: 2 “prime” tables of 12 people at each table - being advertised at $250,000
  2. Pathfinder: 1 “prime” table of 12 people is $150,000
  3. Innovator: 1 “premium” table of 10 people is $100,000
  4. Champion: 1 “premium” table of 10 people (but with fewer shoutouts and freebies that #1, 2, and 3 get) is $50,000
  5. Benefactor: 1 “premium” table of 10 people (but with even fewer shoutouts and freebies) is $25,000
  6. Supporter: 1 individual ticket entry is $5,000

I wonder if that top tier table price comes with a free award?! 😂

Does anything happen with this forum does anyone know? Is it active? Is there any moderation?

I think the pertinent point is that Harry is not returning the adoring gaze. Meghan is very skilled at getting the right pose or look for the camera when it is on her (and is frequently caught out when she thinks it's not on her). Harry looks pissed off and/or indifferent.

That's genuinely fantastic. What an excellent cause.
This Mental Health Awareness is so essential.

Not sure. From what I can tell, you have to join to find out how it works.

The royals are all skilled having been in the public eye they're whole lives.

To me it looks like he’s getting sick of the carousel of desperate attempts to rehabilitate meghans image and make people love her.

i actually think he looks like he wants nothing to do with it all. He knows it’s low quality stuff compared to what the real RF are up to. But he’s forced to do it by his jealous, status craving wife. I think when they left the UK he probably really DID want privacy, he was taken for a ride too. But it was pretty easy to prey on his insecurity around his brother to make him think that the best way to compete with them was to be MORE of a celebrity than the RF at all costs.

It honestly looks like he’s totally over it all, he doesn’t want to do things to be seen anymore. It’s too much effort to maintain and let’s face it, it really is beneath the royals… which is how he was brought up.

ozarina · 11/10/2025 06:37

You would think he could at least try for this award. What a face and getting awarded too! Can't he even pretend for a couple of hours?

pilates · 11/10/2025 06:37

“Humanitarians are people who actively work to improve the welfare of others and reduce suffering, driven by the belief in the fundamental value of human life and dignity”

Nope no clue @Mylovelygreendress

Laserwho · 11/10/2025 06:59

Because it's a fake award. Victoria Beckham's new series on netflix has just gone straight to number one. Megs will be spitting feathers 🤣

I do wonder if, for some people, being a celebrity is so important that other considerations get put aside.
Some people just don't ever want to live privately or under the radar.

It's taken him an awful long time to get to this point though hasn't it? I find it quite incredible that he's been taken in for such a long time.

After receiving the Humanitarian Award, Meghan has wished Harry Happy World Mental Health Day on Instagram, because he always makes her laugh.

I really try to be fair to Meghan but it did jar, why not shine a light on a mental health charity instead of posting behind the scenes footage of yourselves at an award? It isn't Christmas.

Because everything is about them of course.

Harry looks very ill at ease. Perhaps even he is beginning to realise how ridiculous that fiasco is.

That is exactly the impression I got, from both the videos and photos, contrasted by his wife’s utter joy at being front and center receiving a laughable faux award.

That Marcus guy Meghan has hanging around them is a very weird situation, although throuples are a thing in Hollywood celebland, so Meghan must be embracing that too.

Her face now looks like her ex friend, Jessica Mulroney, it’s another weird example of where their lives are now.

That's just bizarre.

It's all very, very odd. Don't they have expensive PR people?
