Thomas Markle - Will Meghan Ever Reconcile?

Hard not to feel compassion for an 80 year old man who has never seen his grandchildren and did something daft 📸 but not bad:

Every time hear H&M gush about humanitarian this, kindness that etc always think 💭 what about your Father and Father in Law!?

Anyone think she’ll ever reach out or is the poor man to go to his grave being ghosted?

Of course not. Markle is a toxic narcissist. She uses, manipulates and exploits people to serve her own ends then she dumps them when they are no longer useful to her. Her own father is among the very large number of people who have had this treatment.

I've never said they should never forgive them. On a personal, family level I hope they do reconcile.

I dont believe H&M should return to being working Royals though - that's an area I don't think they can be trusted to put duty in front of their own egos.

I never understood that - there's lots of strained realtionships in mine and DH family the basics like this are still done - even with few who've later got NC or ones who live in different countries. No always a long meeting or very personal but it's done.

It did to me suggest huge issues not to do it - so seemed okay to me not many family at wedding if there are huge family tension though opting for a huge high profile wedding and inviting so many people you don't know was a bit odd.

I suspect there were huge issue between Megahn and her father glossed over prior to even the wedding.

I loathe MM. but given how her father ( and half siblings) behaved I think she is right to go no contact. He and they sold stories and have been vicious about her. At one point he tried to blackmail her by saying he would release a story a day unless she spoke to him. Stuff him. What a toxic family. No wonder she us a hot mess.

I can get over how he acted in the run up to the wedding. The fake pictures and attention seeking. Then the constant interviews with the press. I don’t know if I would be in contact either.

Her father harassed her a lot through the press both before and after the wedding. I remember thinking how toxic his behaviour was and how sorry i felt for her. I can see why Megan wouldn't want contact with him at this point.
