My first is that being at Windsor might make it easier to host a foreign leader. Which then begs the question as to whether in the modern age we really need Buckingham Palace. None of the royals like living there and I bet you'd make a fortune hiring it out for events and tourists.

Whilst i find Catherine's coat dresses a little boring it makes sense to have a sort of uniform.

Will you post a photo of your mum or the relation you mentioned? So we can all judge that they are too thin and publicly comment they look too thin and haggard?

Ultimately the Trump state visit was an enormous success, the RF are being applauded on the global stage for their diplomacy, and the majority of the commentary about Catherine is that she looked spectacular and most people are genuinely happy to see her looking incredible and so much better..

Exactly! Think about why you wouldn’t want someone commenting negatively about your relations looks, and wonder why some people are taking offence that you are doing the same about Catherine!

I would have quite liked a thread actually about the state visit and not how thin the Princess of Wales is. I am quite proud of them, it can't have been easy for any of them (I suspect William especially, given how he obviously feels about Andrew) to hide their true feelings about Trump but they did an excellent job of doing so.

I disagreed with the OP (I think) and said she was imo thin and not slim. Thats the only comment I made on Kate apart from her outfits.

You can judge my mum & relative all you like. Why would I care? Why would your opinion hold any weight? She does like she has a wig actually because she still has fantastic thick hair which thankfully I inherited.

And if you think it is, then post the photos for us all to judge the same?

Regardless of the political back and forth today the overall view seems to be that the Royal family came up trumps for Trump. Lovely to see Melania so smiley and it seems like both Catherine and Camilla enjoyed showing her things they are interested in.
