Person who does not know the sources of income...claims to know the sources of income.

All the hate directed towards the Tindalls won't help the show get back into the top 100 because H&M's narrative is rather "complicated"

It was a brilliant podcast. Princess Ann is patron of Scottish rugby, is a true fan and really knows her stuff regarding rugby union. It's no secret that William is a rugby fan and close to Zara and Mike. Why would they not do an informal podcast about something they love? Tindal knows them all extremely well, nothing forced about that. That is what the podcast is about, top players, refs, fans, matches, 6 nations, world cups, international teams, amusing rivalries and anecdotes. If you don't know anything about rugby stick to the point of the thread, the Yorks.

but MT would not have access to the RF if he had not married Zara.
have they done this with anyone else about subjects they love?

As far as I am aware Giovanna Fletcher is not married to a member of the RF. C was on Fletcher's podcast regarding Early Years while she was still the Duchess of Cambridge.

It is quite fascinating to see the desperate pivot away from the ghastly Yorks.

H has plenty of lip gloss criticism but has zero criticism of his dear godfather's behavior...how touching!

Luddite26 · 04/09/2025 16:15

William has done a football podcast with Peter Crouch off the top of my head. Probably as his role in the FA. And they are both - W and K - some sort of heads of rugby possibly a reason or excuse -whichever way you want to role - for joing the rugby podcast.

but that was about Kates pet project so a bit different.

and sorry it I have pivoted from the ghastly yorks, but don't think I started it.

I don't think question of sport production team are married to anyone in the RF or any players from Aston villa. Someone from Wimbledon British lawn tennis association must be married to a royal.
Bloody cheeky any sport getting a free show from the RF.
I wonder who Emily Maitlis married to get preferential access to PA 😂 PA was definitely f*cked by her!

CurlewKate · 04/09/2025 16:18

I’m not directing “hate” to the Tindalls. I am merely pointing out that their main sources of income are all derived from their royal connections, not from their very real past sporting achievements.

HappySummerDays · 04/09/2025 17:34

Zara was engaged by Jonny Hon in 2017 to provide with him with consultancy services. She was paid £100,000 per annum for 2 years. Her solicitors denied any money changed hands. She changed her mind and admitted she had received the moolah when the Daily Mail provided evidence.

yes they have. so you've moved the goalposts. as ever.

HappySummerDays · 04/09/2025 18:39

Fergie was a prolific food waster according to Lownie’s book.
Roast beef, lamb and chicken were served up on many occasions. She, Bea and Eug would munch through packets of Kettle crlsps, the meats were left on the table overnight and thrown out the next day.

HappySummerDays · 04/09/2025 18:41

Is nobody advising Bea that she needs to steer well clear of any association with Middle Eastern banks? Have the RF learned nothing?

Luddite26 · 04/09/2025 19:10

Kate read the bedtime story on Cbeebies then Sophie had to join on that gravy train. Following in the footsteps of carrier bags of cash Charlie boy who read his own story on Jackanory.

Were Kate and Sophie paid by the BBC? Do you know how much?

Who knows
Based on the shenanigans of other members of the RF it may be years before we find out

Thank you.

I have pointed out this out for years to tumbleweed.

Can only hope that one day it'll sink in.

It is quite fascinating to see the desperate pivot away from the ghastly Yorks.

It's entirely possible to find all of them appalling.

My2cents1975 · 05/09/2025 08:38

The narrative is too complicated for complicated cancer narrative to follow!

Reading comprehension is your friend. If there are issues, look up your fifth-grade teacher and insist on being better prepared for life.

Indeed. They are all ghastly on a scale of ghastliness-with I think the Yorks at the top. Not sure who’s at the bottom-the Queen maybe? I do have time for her stance on VAWAG. And I have an irrational soft spot for her gathering her women friends as “the Queen’s Companions” in a Guinevere-type way instead of having Ladies in Waiting…..

Actually, I looked it up and if Google is correct, Kate was paid but it didn't say how much. I guess it was the same for Sophie. I wonder if all of the readers, e.g. Tom Hardy, all get paid? Also, I wondered if the BBC approach everyone who comes on to read or whether THEY approach the BBC.

I am old enough to remember Jackanory and I remember Charles (my King, 16 curtsies) reading 'The Old Man of LochNagar' on that.

I expect in your zeal for accuracy you will provide a link to the claim that Kate was paid.

Since you "guess" it was the same for Sophie, I assume that your google search failed to yield results.

Awaiting the Google evidence.

It's interesting to me though that Harry was clearly referring to Andrew when he talked about working members of the RF who made money on the side, but he never named him. Was that because he is/was close to Eugenie and so didn't want to publicly throw her father (and her by association) under the bus along with Harry's own DF, DSM, DB and DSIL? Harry (AFAIK and I don't read or listen to much he says) hasn't publicly said anything about Andrew, despite Andrew being an open goal.

Reddog1 · 05/09/2025 13:29

I didn’t know that about Zara’s grifting. Another snout in the trough.
