It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

  • As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
  • Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
  • This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

But since then it’s been Harry asking permission to see his father. And Harry having all the doors closed in his face.

If there are any doors being closed in Harry’s face it will be due to his own behaviour and how he has treated members of his family.

He has burnt his bridges and he will now have to live with the consequences of that.

Exactly everything Harry and Meghan are experiencing now is a consequence of their own actions.

Please just trust me when I say that you attract a lot of unnecessary vitriol on this board if you defend a Republican viewpoint. I am not the only Republican to say so!

What vitriol have ever I attracted, @Ploachedplorridge? I’ve been a self declared ‘mild mannered republican’ on the Royal Family board for years. I’ve been treated with utmost courtesy.

I read the Morning Star quite openly (peace & socialism ✌️) and I’m proud to support its long-lasting commitment to class analysis including sex class analysis. There’s no vitriol at all toward this on the RF board - perhaps a mild curiosity sometimes and happily some agreement.

Mostly we’re all people entertaining each other on a mostly female site in an increasingly strange world.

I don’t think you’ve got a grip of this.

Thedom · 13/08/2025 15:18

If I remember correctly, it was Valentine Low who reported on the bullying, he has since said he got that information directly from some of the 'Sussex Survivors Club', those who had been directly bullied and were not working for the RF anymore.

This x100. Imagine thinking you may have a private conversation with Harry, but then you'd worry he'd monetise it, sell it to whatever tabloid or magazine that would pay.

Yes and then if you told anyone about this it would be “convenient “ .

I think part of the problem is that some “self declared republicans” seem to think that defending the Sussexes is compatible with being a republican, when the Sussexes are in fact on a determined trajectory to be more royal than the actual Royal Family. I’m afraid I don’t believe those who say that they support the Sussexes because they are “disrupters”. Their antics will do nothing to affect the RF in the long term and they would take the throne in a heartbeat if it became available to them. Posters like yourself @TheAutumnCrow are nothing like this and contribute to an interesting discussion. Whereas I find that those “republicans” who are supportive of the Sussexes often resort to personal attacks and add little to the conversation 🤷‍♀️

Do you know something @TheAutumnCrow?
I had actually forgotten that you had republican leanings! 🤣

SuziQuinto · 13/08/2025 15:28

@smilesy excellent points.
The Sussexes are very royal - they want the titles, status and privilege, but without doing any of the humdrum work.
I can't for the life of me work out why anyone with Republican tendencies would support them, they're ultra royal! Just look at Harry, trying to get the plebs to pay for limitless security!

Profhilodisaster · 13/08/2025 15:29

It looks (possibly) as if the military chap Edward Fortescue has fallen foul of the SS . I don't know how Twitter works, so it could be that he had gained too many followers in a short space of time or that he's been reported multiple times by the SS (he has posted a piece about them and it's not flattering) anyway he's on a 3 day ban.

jeffgoldblum · 13/08/2025 15:33

I’m not sure why we need to know either way?!
my opinion of a poster is based on what they post and not on some label, be a republican, be a monarchist , makes no difference to me! 🤷‍♀️ , just don’t try putting labels on others, I’m not a republican, I’m not a monarchist I’m just Jeff .

Honestly, I don't know why some people use these labels, they're meaningless, really. Mostly, people join in a discuss, only a few get extreme!

Many people believe a different narrative. I don’t know enough about the detail to know precisely which bits are true and which are not but I have noticed the odd “circumstances” of timing! And the fact that JK apparently raised the bullying allegations without the knowledge or support of the staff involved.

Of course JK didn’t have a job at Earthshott then! That came later as a reward for loyalty.

And didn’t Meghan win her case against the tabloid about the letter? And wasn’t the appeal upheld too? Even though Jason Knauf testified against her? The judge obviously disagreed with his perspective.

The Truth About Jason Knauf and Meghan Markle’s Bullying Allegations

Jason Knauf's bulling allegations against Meghan Markle reveal a pattern of royal deflection to distract the public.

That’s great Autumncrow. I am genuinely pleased that you haven’t.

That honestly hasn’t been my experience at all or that of quite a few other posters I could name but won’t!

And to address the general comment about republicans v republicans; it’s a bit disengenuous to suggest that that is only coming from one side! I would welcome a more nuanced discussion.

but now I have a serious question for you @AtIusvue??

I know it was very upsetting last time but…. Are you going to take one for us again and watch the second half of the season and give us the lowdown like before?

I really try and remain polite. But it’s hard when others are very condescending or pompous, or continually addressing your name changes or right to be posting in the first place, or whether your beliefs are genuine or not.

You don’t believe that I in part support Harry because he is a disruptor and an underdog, while choosing to ignore the rest of my (nuanced) explanation. That’s fine.

But it is an example of what I mentioned earlier in that it’s quite rude to question someone’s genuine beliefs and you’ve ignored my more nuanced points about the power imbalance.

Why can’t we all just stick to debating the content of the posts? It would be a lot easier!

SuziQuinto · 13/08/2025 16:08

Harry is not an "underdog". He is a multimillionaire by virtue of his family. He keeps his royal title, and insists on royal titles for his children. He has an expectation of people bowing and curtseying to him, and calling him "Sir" and "Your Royal Highness". He has the means and opportunity to pursue whatever he wants, a sort of transatlantic dilettante.
Underdog he is not.
He is more royal than most of them!

MavisandHetty · 13/08/2025 16:09

Chrissy Teigen?? To PROMOTE As Ever and herself on her infomercial WLM??

The woman was putting things on Twitter that Rose West would have uttered about teenaged girls.

WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with Meghan Markle?? It was only yesterday she was trying to kid everyone that she was a strong, principled mother of two young children whose greatest concern was protecting children from harm online. Where the fuck is Harry in all this?

What is WRONG with these two? They've actively given a platform to Chrissy BLOODY Teigen!!
