Honestly the more I read about Andrew, the more I can understand why Harry was so flabbergasted to be told no to his half in half out proposal.
After all, he’d seen the model of uncle Andrew on official ‘government’ business for years and years using it as a cover to line his own pockets, doing dodgy deals with god knows who.
I'm the last person in the world to sympathise with Harry, but I can certainly see why he might feel hard done by at being firmly told he can’t sell branded tea-towels, when PA was selling state secrets to Russian and Chinese spies!
that’s not to say for a second that I think the late queen made the wrong call with H&M by the way, just that I think it’s utterly astounding, and quite frankly appalling and Andrew was allowed to continue unchecked for so many years.
I know the RF can only do so much now, but I would dearly like this to be the nail in the coffin for seeing Andrew in public ever again, even at private family events. I think continuing to associate with him even in a private capacity is just going to be so damaging for them all.
