Agree - thats how its been to date - but if they are negotiating or promoting a reconciliation programme then these might be an obvious route - although I agree it would be unfair on the couple getting married. Either way they will likely have the guest list scrutinised and people will wonder if H&M were ever invited. Do we know when each of the cousins weddings are - they might have a diary clash with something?

I don't think there's a planned reconciliation. And William, of all people, wouldn't have anything to do with it.

And I agree - it would be awful if these weddings were overshadowed by press interest in the brothers' mutual dislike.

No she isnt - Eliza Spencer and Peter Phillips are W&H's 1st cousins.

No, Marina is the grandaughter of the Duke of Kent who is first cousin to the late Queen. So I think that makes her 3rd cousin to William & Harry.

She attended William's wedding but was not invited to Harry's.

Yes. Neither invited the children of the Kents or the Gloucesters but he did invite the Clooneys and Oprah. Tbh QEII and PC are slightly to blame. They were after all footing the bill. I understand dropping cousins in favour of friends but not complete strangers! Some previously close friends were also dropped, some for the ceremony, some for the evening do.

The only one whose name I remember was a guy called Tom Inskip, who was invited to the ceremony but not the evening bash. I remember him because the name stuck in my head and also because he had had a wedding in the Caribbean, which H had attended and I remember thinking they must have been good friends for H to do that so it was a clear snub.

You’re right, Snogger. The photos (which Meghan was unaware of) don’t show a happy, relaxed Meghan! I think she came to keep an eye on Harry.
