How long can As ever last when they won’t have NF to back it up with WLM infomercials.

And this right here is exactly what the problem is...people making a fuss cos she did spend money and now here we have people making horrible comments about her not spending money 🙄 so spend money get vilified for it, dont spend money get vilified for it. So it doesnt matter what she does for some it won't ever be right.

It’s surprising how poorly As Ever/With Love has turned out, especially considering how media-savvy she was with The Tig.

Honestly, I can’t see anything wrong with buying the house and contents. Those pots will be very expensive and probably made to last a lifetime, and the kitchen is nice.

Is one of them left handed? That table setting is how a left hander often eats.

How you do know? Have you been by her side all her life that you know all the types of things she does? I know plenty of rich ppl who are still frugal probably why they are still rich.

People are 'interested' in her in a gossipy sort of way. It doesn't translate into sustainable audiences for whatever she's trying to sell. And to be honest, I'm not sure a 'tech bro or movie mogul' is going to be interested in a 40 something mother of two with a reputation for disloyalty and indiscretion.

Royalty was their only selling point but that's all but gone now. And it's Harry, not her, who is the 'blood' royal, so she needs him for that ever more tenuous link. I do think this is what the 'reconciliation' attempts were all about. They're getting desperate.

I cant even see what the difference is in those pics the kitchen doesnt look battered to me its look the same in both as does the pans. They look like copper pans too which should last 20 yrs so why would anyone just throw them out. They look clean. I would use them.

Personally, I think the kitchen is ugly, but you're right that most of us would see nothing wrong with keeping a house and its contents.

However, the type of people who live in Montecito and drop 8 figure sums on houses are not like you or me. If they did buy an 'old' house - rather than have one built from scratch, as many of the super rich do - they would absolutely have the interior gutted and redecorated to their specs. What's a million or two when you've already spent maybe 10 or 15 times that on the house?

And from everything we've seen from Meghan these last few years, that dark wooden kitchen is unlikely to be to her tastes. I think it's clear they couldn't afford to have the house redecorated.

I mean I started it, to see what it was like but I just found it boring and pretentious.
TBH not sure why I thought I’d like it as it’s not the type of show I would generally watch. Never seen GBBO or Stacey Solomon or any other lifestyle type show.

Frogmore cottage's renovation was paid for by the sovereign grant, easy to spend money when it's not yours. I doubt M&H thought they would have to repay it:
