Meghan certainly seems to have man appeal. She may look merely attractive to the normal observer, but clearly in person she can make certain men dance to her tune. I think TLHMQ played a blinder by refusing to be photographed with Lillibet. That was the moment Netflix and H&M were probably desperate for, and which they could use to sell the Royal connection even now. I am actually surprised they haven't tried this with KC3 tbh

I think ( cynically) that the whole naming debacle was the point ! So a photo of little lilibet and older lilibet was the goal, a picture with Charles would not have the same effect.

@coolmum123I think they caught HMQ out with the photo with Archie. She had never ever recorded the moment she met her dgcs
or dggcs. At the time I thought it was a record of a very sweet moment, now I see it was just part of H and M’s games. They were getting something others hadn’t. The same with the post partum photos. M didn’t have a problem with posing for them but the hospital steps weren’t good enough for her. She had to have a castle as a backdrop.

Queen Elizabeth was very wise to their tricks, by the end. Imagine calling the child Lilibet! The late Queen realised what they were up to ie monetising the RF. They would do anything to hawk that royal connection.

They didn't care about HMQ. They didn't care that she was increasingly unwell and frail. They never took up her offer to visit Balmoral, not even during her last illness.
Same about her death and funeral. It's all about what's in it for them.

It’s one thing for M not to care about allowing an old lady to spend time with her dgs and dggs but it’s completely cold for H not to make an effort to spend time with his dgm. Balmoral was too long a journey for Archie but South Africa was okay.

Netflix is a notoriously ruthless organisation, they have "the keeper test" which asks "if x were to resign to go to a competitor tomorrow would I fight to keep them or not?" and if the answer is "not" to fire them.

This is spot-on. One of my pet hates is the lack of nuance in talking about attractiveness. Some people (male and female) aren’t pretty/beautiful/handsome, but they ARE sexy. It’s a quality that’s hard to analyse or describe, but it’s more powerful than beauty when it comes to ‘box office’.

I think Meghan (allowing for the fact that we’re seeing a very tweaked and curated version of the natural Meghan) is extremely attractive…not really beautiful, but very sexy in appearance, and she’s clearly used this attribute with great success in her life. You can see from her body language that she expects to be front and centre all the time , doesn’t take kindly to being second in line and has developed a fixed smile and other manipulative expressions to get what she wants. For eg, see the Tom Brady interview with doe eyes, welling with tears, and the ‘Please rescue me, brave Prince!’ look on her face.

She did this schtick at the wedding - a divorced woman in her late 30s doing the hammy teenage dreamy searching eyes nonsense.

And it works on many people! The number of references to Meghan as a ‘young mother’ just on MN! She wasn’t young when she married Harry and I’m sure, in gynaecological terms, she’d have been a distinctly elderly mother. I remember being described as ‘an elderly prima gravida’ when I had my first child at 31🤣🤭!

It all fits the helpless victim narrative.

There was talk of her selling homeware , throws , vases , saucepans etc . Would she not have had to had contracts with distributors for these already in place , I can't imagine it's something you can do at a moment's notice.
