I guess, and it is only that, if she could have found a hugely hugely wealthy established Hollywood star / producer etc that may have suited her very well. As it was I think more than one account has said she came over looking for a rich Englishman . & if she was taken with Rory McIlroy or whatever footballer it was , Prince Harry must have seemed like all her Christmases come at once, although I suspect Rory is personally more wealthy than H . I hope they are both in love. Certain friends of HLMTQ think she rather went after Harry and he was the smitten one. Now, who knows ? On the other hand people have written they are smitten with each other. I don't know.

Does anyone know what Travalyst actually does? Why it needs 7 directors plus Harry who controls more than 75% with the right to hire and fire directors? What do they all do?

It seems to mostly be a forum for people to fly around the world lecturing giving information on sustainable tourism. But what has been achieved in the last 5 years?

This is a bit off topic, but I saw it was reported yesterday that Doria has moved back to LA after living with M and H for 18 months. Apparently fed up with being used as free childcare and sick of M’s constant negativity. M was pleading with her to stay and distraught. If true, that’s rather sad somehow. The reports seem to have mysteriously disappeared this morning.

If it is true, it must have been an employee who reported this to someone. It also paints a rather pitiful picture of M being abandoned by her mother again and left with the needy dependent man who has made her his whole world. I think this is what happened with her father. It seems like a cycle repeating itself. We don’t know if those reports were true but I wouldn’t be surprised .

Yes I saw the same on Twitter. Would love to be a fly on the wall in that mansion.

I have no idea if any of that's true or what would be the reason. However I had suspected a rupture as Doria was almost a 3rd wheel in their relationship - accompanying them to many events etc - but we have not seen them together for a very long time. Did Doria attend some big celeb event without MM as her last pap shot?

I would imagine that Doria has a well established network of friends, neighbours and family in LA and the isolated life 2.5hrs drive away behind high hedges would not be satisfying - she must be heading towards 70 - maybe just wants a quiet life with her mates.

Practically everything they've launched seems to involve a blaze of publicity and then tumbleweed, and the Parents Network, Travalyst and Archewell in particular seem to have nothing new on the websites at all apart from the "wall" for the first (and I wonder who paid for that? )

There have been so many different stories about where Doria lives - H&M's house, the house Doria inherited from her father, a house H&M may or may not have bought for her. So who knows what the truth is?

Relations certainly seemed a bit frosty during the clips we saw on WLM where Meghan snaps a bit as Doria apparently arrives late - implying she doesn't live there. In the trailer it is clear that Doria doesn't like the dish Meghan made and Meghan looked p*ssed off. In the finale brunch Meghan doesn't really acknowledge Doria at all. Then there are reports from production that Netflix wanted a joint Doria/Meghan cooking slot and Meghan refused.

So it seems like relations may be strained but it is a difficulty if H&M fall out with the only family member they currently have contact with.

She clearly wasn’t impressed with what M had made but she could have at least have pretended knowing that the cameras were on her ffs.

That's why I think things might be a bit frosty between them ATM - Doria isn't even pretending.

Her reaction to a bowl of banana, jam, white something and flower sprinkles was authentic. And Meghan is all about the authenticity. Maybe Doria thinks, as Meghan once said, that she can't believe she's not being paid for this.

We still get pps who ask why anyone is interested in Meghan.

I confess - I'm completely fascinated by this phenomenal woman! She defies belief. I can't work out whether she is absolutely shameless and is aware she knows nothing about food or cooking and just 'styles it out', on the chance she'll get away with it, or...

...whether she has NO clue whatsoever as so what real knowledge and skill are involved in it, how very expert some big names are and how long they took to accumulate that knowledge and expertise.

I just don't know. Being 'shameless' is an old-fashioned concept these days, but I have never seen anyone in real life (as opposed to fiction) who embodies this characteristic like Meghan does.

The whole business of her and Harry's charitable 'work' and activities is similarly fascinating. They both seem either really stupid or really brazen.

I would just love them to be properly scrutinised about all this stuff, trivial and otherwise.

I’m not joking when I say that Meghan is just about the most gruesomely fascinating person/celebrity (from a psychological perspective) that I’ve come across outside fiction.

I cannot look away!

Several times M has been quoted as not tolerating anyone speaking negatively ( I.e realistically) about something she wants to do or believes in. She genuinely seems to think that if she says something is so, it is. She doesn’t brook opposition or alternative viewpoints or listen to opinions AT ALL. People who are like this I have found in life often have other issues , mental health or otherwise.

I agree she is absolutely fascinating. I always think there are strong parallels between the relationship of Yoko Ono and John Lennon and these two. I’mjust reading May Pangs account of her relationship with JL.
