I don't understand why she's posted this. In what way is she hoping to enhance here brand/improve her image? It's so weird.

I've seen more photos of the Sussex kids than the Wales kids this year. Easily.

And the Wales children will have a role in public life so it makes sense for them to be seen in appropriate contexts. The Sussex kids will have no such role so there's no more reason to see them than to see their parents twerking while preparing for their birth.

Things like that video, IMO, normalise them. That could have been any couple about to have a baby, and not necessarily the King’s son.

Why would anyone be bothered if she did get tattoos? Why isn’t she “allowed” to get however many tattoos she wants, dance in a room with her husband, do whatever with her own kids?

I was responding to the comment that posting this video normalised her. I think normal is subjective, depending on your viewpoint. But publicly posting a video of yourself twerking is aiming at a very different fanbase from the one she’s been targeting till now.

What’s even more strange is for two 40 somethings to actually film themselves twerking in a delivery room and then publish it four years later. Not that is beyond weird.

Nobody is “pissed off” and even if they had been, your posts are particularly strange.

Possibly, but there is also a chance that sometimes people just want to do things without it being about a “brand.”

It could be that she had the video, likes it and thinks it’s funny/endearing/shows them as just a happy couple, so she posted it.

Or, they’re sat deciding what to post based on what will piss people off the most, trying to get the backs up of those who get their back up.

At this point I sort of hope it’s the latter.

I’d assume it’s because I think the royals may be racist, are quite “stuffy” and I referred to it as a dated system, maybe.

I am never sure how the racist royal family argument somehow ceases to extend to Harry. The one member where there's no innuendo needed. He's been racist multiple times

Everything to do with Harry and Meghan Markle is about being a Brand. It’s their raison d’être, their life’s work.

I agree with you that they probably spend a
lot of time, energy and money thinking what they can post to get people talking. It’s unfortunate that they are posting material like this though, it demonstrates a level of desperation that will not be good for their Brand.

Yeah, how mature. Using the occasion of your daughter's birthday to post a humiliating video just to 'piss off' complete strangers.

But if that was the plan, it's failed. Nobody is 'pissed off'. Everybody is laughing at them.

Personally I don’t think it’s humiliating.

But I think they’re both smart enough to know that some people are going to grant them headspace and take issue with things they do, whatever it is they do, and they’re either not bothered, or they’re trolling them.

I think it's fake, as in probably a fake bump and not done at the time of her daughter's birth, but done much later, maybe years later.

Like I say, 'smart' people don't use their 4 year old daughter's birthday as an excuse to post a private video to 'troll' complete strangers. That's the type of behaviour you might expect from a teenager.

Especially when this video is going to do lasting harm to their 'brand'. Who will take seriously a campaigner for online safety for children when they post videos like this? Who's going to pay over the odds for 'elevated' cake mix from someone you saw with her skirt hoiked up over her thighs, as though she were taking a dump right there in the delivery room?

But hey, if you get to 'troll' a few folks on the interwebs, who really cares?
