2021 is several years ago? You think she’s gone from being the most Googled woman on the planet to not being famous in four years? How, exactly?
She was Googled because she was an unknown marrying into the royal family. That's not 4 years ago. It's 7 years ago, as you said on your last post.
And, yes, as Archetypes debuted as no 1 in India and she has been both the most Googled person and woman on Earth, I’d say she probably has name recognition in most places.
I wasn't talking about 'Archetypes', which got initial good audience figures following heavy promotion by Spotify, before dropping off in later episodes, leading to Spotify dumping them. I was talking about her recent podcast which was on a minor platform and got very poor audiences.
You said you didn’t think younger people in the U.K. know who she was. I responded to that.
No I didn't. I said increasingly they have only a vague idea who she is. Not that they don't know her at all. Name recognition is pretty basic. I'd expect almost everyone in Britain to know her name, although that will change over time.
This is the thing about the anti-Meghan brigade. The things you say about her don’t make any sense. Dislike her, but claiming she isn’t incredibly famous is bizarre.
She's pretty famous in the English speaking world, yes. Outside of that, not so much I would say. Her mere 3 million followers on Instagram would seem to support that. There are women out there with followers in the tens or hundreds of millions. So no, I don't think she is anywhere close to being one of the most famous women 'on earth'.
And I ask once again: to what does she owe her fame?
