The royal family

How can Harry be so deluded?

1000 replies

HiRen · 04/06/2025 17:38

The paranoia deepens

I don't really know what to conclude from this other than that Harry must feel the victim of a deep state conspiracy. Being a spoilt brat, and not understanding that he's there to serve his country rather than the country being there to serve him, can't help. Even if he did fear strategic delays, why would he jump to the conclusion that specific individuals have it in for him, rather than that there's a bigger picture to consider?

I just can't fathom the depths of misery and confusion he must experience on a daily basis. He must think his whole life was a lie until he met Meghan. I really do think things with Harry are much worse than they seem. Which puts an entirely different, and much darker, gloss on all of Meghan's utterings of her era of joy.

I honestly wouldn't want to be in their orbit. And I wonder whether those who remain in their orbit are desperate, whether as friends or employees. They're too much.

Harry and Meghan explored changing surname to Spencer amid children’s passport delays

Although, what I can’t get my head around is why when you know pics of your real life little princess meeting a Disney princess, Lili is always so unkempt.

Never a brush through the hair or any attempt to coordinate her outfits. I get you don’t want to fuss over little kids and as soon as you put them in something, then ice cream will be down it etc but she’s in a very thin summer dress that’s too big for her (note others are dressed for the weather) hair unbrushed and no shoes in one pic. Theres letting kids be free and wild at home….but then don’t let them look like that in public and post the pic to the world.

Most families, particularly those that are going there for the kids birthday, put a great deal of effort into their Disney clothes. It’s a treat. A little girls birthday at Disney meeting princesses, would usually mean a lot more effort. Lili just looks like she’s been running around in the back garden. …not dressed for Disney for her birthday, which would have prob cost at least 20k.

It’s so odd how much effort she puts into how she dresses but it looks like the nanny just puts anything on Lili that’s clean.

Edited

That’s what I thought too. We took my dd to a princess lunch at Disney world when she was the same age and she wore a princess outfit (Tangled, her all time favourite). All the little girls at the lunch were dressed up similarly. My dd was a nightmare with her hair at that age (the irony of Tangled being her favourite movie!) but I made sure I had a good go with the tangle teezer and the detangling spray because I knew we would be taking pictures that we would be looking back on forever.
(I am now having flashbacks of what hard work my dd was with her hair at that age!)

Anyone seen the latest picture posted by Meghan? She's walking through the sea in a white slip dress. No idea why.

Is she pretending to be Bo Derek in the movie, "10"?

Harry is nowhere near as attractive as Dudley Moore.

He’s trying to make sure his children are prince and princess now Charles is on the throne. Whereas they weren’t entitled to it at birth. Which is a fairly slimy thing to do having huffed off to the US and slamming the door, and kicking it, behind them for a life of commercial gain. They know now that it’s not quite as easy as they thought, and the only traction they have is ensuring a royal link for their children now that they’ve scorched the earth. Long term relevance and of course a momager role for Meg.

By attempting to force through a passport he wants to get legal precedence. Which is shady and everyone knows it. Had he applied for the passport as per birth certificate I’m sure it would have been weeks… So instead he creates a fuss blaming grey men in suits projecting his own underhanded motives onto anyone else. I can imagine the royal family would be fairly disgusted by this application given everything that has happened.

I thought they looked scruffy too. In the very few photos of them they also don’t look particularly relaxed or happy either.

They are still pics, so it’s hard to tell obviously but Archie is always placed in very static positions and handled by his parents. Lili seems somewhat more animated- but the pic as a whole doesn’t look very natural.

But for me. It’s that Lili and Archie are never interacting. If there’s pics, it’s never just them two. It’s always with the parents. One with one kid, one with another.

I get siblings don’t always get on, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen them interact. Ever. That’s weird.

Never a pic of just the two of them, off enjoying Disney.

That’s because their parents want the focus to be on themselves not their children.

I suspect the reason for that will become clearer as time goes on.

Exactly. It’s weird.

Pics, especially at theme parks are always of the kids together with a family one in there somewhere.

They are so determined to shoehorn themselves in and look like ‘fun’ parents, they give off very strange family dynamics.

The pics of Harry and Will at the theme park with Diana- Harry n William are enjoying their fun together. Diana isn’t interfering and having to be centre of attention. I recognise they are older than Lili n Archie in these pics- but they are behaving like siblings would. Together, enjoying themselves.

The royal family is one of the most dysfunctional families

Harry is certainly struggling with issues but I don’t see him as unique within that family in terms of being entitled,, deluded or lacking any sense of duty. William and Kate lack any sense of duty or sacrifice. They only do what suits them and what fits in with being stay at home parents. That’s not anyone’s idea of duty or sacrifice

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 09/06/2025 16:29

Why is it that any criticism of Meghan or Harry immediately gets someone coming on to say "Catherine and William are awful, so nyah boo snibbins"?

IsoldeWagner · 09/06/2025 16:30

Have William and Kate, or any others, monetised the privacy of others in the RF? Talked about private details? Made vile and unsubstantiated accusations? Slagged them off on various chat shows, made a Netflix series with questionable claims? etc?
No. Harry and Meghan have plumbed new depths. You'd think leaving a dysfunctional family would want to make you raise your standards, not lower yourself further and spill your tawdry tales to whatever chat show or tabloid or magazine would pay you the most.

Every time. It's bizarre. That's the only response, isn't it? No attempt at discussion, just criticism of William and Kate.

Some of the criticism of Catherine and William is vicious, too, rather than mostly quotation of or comment on what they themselves have chosen to say or publish.

Because those posters are pathetic, and cannot defend their favourites with anything approaching facts.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 09/06/2025 16:37

Someone must have said "the best form of defence is attack" in their hearing and then failed to explain that aphorism. And failed to explain that the attack does need to be made by the person doing the defending, and attacking the person they are defending against.

Hey, have Catherine and William ever attacked Harry? I must have missed it. And I know about the invented/alleged attack on Meghan, but M seems to have decided not to push that one because it is simply too outlandish to fly. So why are their "defenders" attacking people who have done nothing to attack them?

You remember how long QE was on the throne for? 70 years. It's a lifetime job once you become Monarch and Consort and if they are maximising the time they have now to raise their kids, good for them. It doesn't go so well when parenting young children always takes second place to royal duty. Ask Charles.

Vivid memories of a frail 96 year old lady in the last -hours really- of her life having to see Boris and Liz bloody Truss.

Same. I'm not saying anything about the children's appearance as my DD was a nightmare to try and get her hair brushed at that age, never mind neatly styled. She would sit for hours letting the childminders daughter do really elaborate styles in her hair. While I would literally be chasing her round with a brush and tie back.

As for my ds, at least his hair was short. But one year he wore a zip up hoodie (it was a bit cool). I would zip it up - just about every photo it would miraculously become unzipped and hanging off one shoulder.

I missed the chat shows/magazine articles/ Netflix series where William and Kate told tales of Harry being drunk or high or rude, of Meghan being mean or stupid or greedy? I'm sure they're not short of material.

Uricon2 · 09/06/2025 16:59

I'm loving the stories about making kids vaguely presentable for photos!

My DBro always managed to put his chin inside his polo neck and we thus had many pictures of basically Wilfred from the Bash Street Kids. Remember well threatening one 7 year old to show evidence of his scowl to his grandchildren (and his grandchildren's grandchildren) My offence? Saying no to the gift shop before actually touring the Eden Project.

The resulting image is still James Dean on a grumpy day 😂

What we have is one or other of the Sussexes claiming that someone said nasty things about them, but without any evidence to support the claims. This is in contrast to the nasty things they so often say about others in published work or interviews, which I think do provide evidence of exactly what they said.

It's like "We had a private wedding before the public one, just ask the archbishop!" The archbishop was asked, and said roundly that no such ceremony had taken place. Silence fell, with tumbleweed.

MaturingCheeseball · 09/06/2025 17:03

I’m not going to criticise the kids. Not their fault how they’re dressed… and I think M might be doing the “free spirit” thing with Lili, as a contrast with those buttoned-up stuffy cousins…

But I sometimes watch The Sidley Twins on YouTube, and they were pointing out that the rides were empty apart from them (and their party, ie very likely Markus Andersen &co). Now, anyone who has ever been to a Disney park (apart from before anyone says it closing time or during very bad weather) knows that empty rides just don’t happen. So they were some sort of VIP guests to have the sole use of the carousel and Buzz Lightyear’s Spin (can’t remember exact name) and other things they were snapped on.

Also Sidley Twins said that anyone and everyone - especially from LA - knows where the camera is in that shot where M has her hand up a la Diana. People make a thing of doing silly poses at just the right moment.

Or "our child won't have a title because of their skin colour" 🤔
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana?.
