I can’t keep up. They seem to be leaping about from idea to idea. None of which seem to be making them huge amounts of money that will provide a long term income to keep them in the lifestyle they want.
A shame because they had great potential to do a lot of good.

I think if they had taken time to consider what they wanted to be, what would work in the US, listened to advice they coud’ve done well and then turned that into proper philanthropy @forsakensleep

I suppose they were trying to sell the socialite-charity thing but why even bother? They've clearly been pursuing a certain type of commercial celebrity lifestyle (whether successfully or not) even to an uninterested observer like me, so why bother with maintaining the philanthrophic pretensions. Especially now that they can't even afford their own lifestyle, but even if they could.

Idk. Perhaps it's because I'm from an ex colony which tends to be very unimpressed with the royals / views them as parasites and scavengers leeching off our resources historically (not in any ideological way, just how most people naturally see them). Not sure if that's why. Just can't wrap my head around why they're even bothering with the whole charity act now that they're no longer obligated to be in the royal circus.

I think the pretence of do gooding is to give H the illusion that he’s still got a purpose. He isn’t interested in the instagram lifestyle stuff. I’m guessing if it wasn’t for him she would have gone the Kardashian route long ago.

I think she said in her show that she was uncomfortable around bees and didn't go there without the beekeeper, she hadn't been to the hives in months.

She is walking towards the hive. I bet she then turned around and left. I'm the clip i saw of the show she didn't seem comfortable around the hive at all.

One is unusual for practical reasons, you can move frames between two hives if one hive starts to reduce too much and would otherwise die, for example (I think - my limited knowledge comes from my grandparents who had about 15 hives).
But there’s no reason you can’t have just one.
