My point is and perhaps I expressed it poorly is that Hailey understood her role within the Rhode team and stuck to her role and executed her role professionally.

Hailey was an investor in Rhode (one of several investors). She grasped that her role was to be the face of the product. Hailey maintained message discipline as guided by the team of Marketing/Advertising/PR professionals.

Hailey did not unilaterally communicate to the public about Rhode outside agreed upon messaging. She did not interfere in product development insisting she knew better than the expert dermatologists on her Advisory Board. She did not interfere with the financial advisors claiming to know better than the financial advisors. She did not interfere with the operations team who managed the logistics.

As ever, it boils down to the basics. Knowing and executing your role. Teamwork. Listening to experts.
