All the stuff about the hiring of team members (I doubt they’re on the couple’s personal payroll FT, literally nobody needs a team of 11 for comms and PR only) is nonsense. No amount of positive spin and management of media contacts and carefully worded press releases etc can hide the fact that there’s nothing there. Not even mystery at this point. Sorry to be crass but you just can’t polish a turd.
Nobody wants to hear any more of Harry’s messages, he’d be doing himself a favour by NOT getting them out there frankly. As for service: he had the biggest platform on earth (bar the likes of Bill and Melinda Gates, who actually have to use their own money), and walked out on it because….well who knows at this point. And he expects people to believe he’s all about service over everything? Self-service, maybe.
Thing is, on some level you can understand how and why Harry is the way he is. Completely atypical and dysfunctional life from birth (albeit not one of service while he was still in diapers, as he’d have people think 🙄). His childhood was more devoted to things other than just being a child. I think most people have a degree of sympathy. But Meghan had a whole entire life in the real world before she married him at 35yo, including adulthood at the coal face of venal, grasping, hypocritical, thieving, lying, fraudulent “Hollywood”. She has zero entitlement to any claim of Marie Antoinette entitlement or superiority or ignorance of how things work in the real world. She can’t pull off the bored, rich, ivory tower housewife thing (like, say, the Beckham boy’s wife, heiress as she is) because she’s had to work for her living from the beginning. She’s still working. She’s not to the manor born, she’s just playing another role, just as badly as all the other roles she’s ever played.
It’s just more bullshit. Throwing stuff and seeing what sticks. Rinse and repeat. It’s tiresome and unoriginal and mendacious. It’s just a relief that there’s now enough out there for them to be seen for what they are. They’re powerless at this point.
