Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

I do wonder if he was trying to reach out to someone he hadn’t seen in a while in secret. Very strange not to have security by choice while at the same time insisting that it is too dangerous for him to be in the country without security.

I’m your friend @jeffgoldblum 💗

You are one of them @MummyJ12! ❤️

If it is fake, then he's going to be quicker than a greased frog to leap to tell the papers that it can't possibly be him because he was doing XYZ at the time. Or at any rate tell the papers to print "sources close to Harry informed me that at that time he was over the Atlantic on the way home" or something.
He's always wanted to refute stories that are in his mind wrong, so silence will say if it's true.

And the poshest street near here is the first to put up ring footage on FB (and the local news) of "suspicious characters" who normally ends up being a delivery company confused because that road doesn't have numbers, just names.

Needspaceforlego · 11/05/2025 11:49

Munnygirl · 11/05/2025 09:49

Then why didn’t he just ring them to,ask? It’s not difficult

I'll have to assume he's lost their phone numbers.
Which is actually quite easily done. Before smart phones backing contacts up to the cloud losing your phone means you lose contact details.

It wouldn't be the first time I've seen a FB post, I've lost my phone please text me your number.
Except I can't imagine Harry or his contacts would be as casual to have FB pages.

But it also means his friends haven't been in touch with him either.
It's actually quite sad but I can see why they have cut him off.

My question is how did the papers get to know. Did the house owners get intouch or did someone else try to sell the story?

MiloMinderbinder925 · 11/05/2025 11:49

Munnygirl · 11/05/2025 10:45

It really shouldn’t be

Do you have evidence to prove that? Why aren't the police involved?

In what way are the people of that street in the Sun? Do you know where that street is and who lives there? How do you know that a "posh" resident isn't the one who gave it to the Sun in the first place? Do strangers on a street get to dictate what their neighbours can do with their doorbell footage?

Eh? No, I don’t know what street it is-but if I lived anywhere near I probably would! And no, strangers on a street don’t get to dictate what their neighbours sell to the Sun-but it’s a pretty fair guess they wouldn’t like it!

Edited

Why? Why wouldn't they like it? Why would they be bothered? If it's footage from my ring doorbell and not your ring doorbell, and I am not providing any other identifying information, what's the problem? If I sold it to the Telegraph or Horse & Hound, would that be ok?

Certainly preferable🤣

jeffgoldblum · 11/05/2025 12:24

Now I’m wondering 🤔
it’s very odd that this particular thread was inundated with protective posters!
there are other more critical threads that have not drawn the same ire?
Is it because after bleating non stop about how unsafe Harry is in the U.K. , and how it’s simply not on that the taxpayers are not forced to pay for his 24hr security.
that this story and the deliveroo one is simply not good optics? 🤔

Yes it is all very sad. He is so damaged, bitter and reckless. He's a ticking timebomb. Why doesn't his 'blood relative' Charlie Spencer have a word with him. Mind, he's estranged from his daughters I believe so not one to talk.

Agree.
With the ticking time bomb.

He must be regretting allowing all ties to be cut. Yes he has millions and can buy help but everyone needs a friend just someone who just cares about you.

The trouble is the people who care most about him have been hurt by him and don't trust him.

MaturingCheeseball · 11/05/2025 12:28

@jeffgoldblum it is odd that they all descended on this.

it is indeed very likely that The Sun is sitting on a spicier story. I can smell it!!

Yes @MaturingCheeseball, rumours have it that the papers had both this and the deliveroo one previous to the court ruling and certainly before his ridiculous interview but chose to sit on both then release them at the most opportune moment!!!

Yep. It has completely undermined his case and his litany of complaints. He has been shown - yet again - to be dishonest, to be hypocritical and to be completely self obsessed.

I could easily believe that, @jeffgoldblum; after all we've seen many times with others that stories can be "sat on", and doubtless more will trickle out in time

BTW does anyone know what's happening with Harry's case against the Mail ... isn't that this week?

I understand his issue about security was to protect his children..

No. Did you follow the Livestream? It was about himself. His dependents automatically get the protection he gets. If he says they don't, then he is lying.

If it is genuine-and, bizarrely enough, it’s starting to look more likely that it is-I know who won’t be popular. The person who sold the picture to the Sun, that’s who. The street WhatsApp will be red hot!

Don't think so, seems there's plenty of individual residents of that street who are happy to speak to the Press about it.
