Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

If it were fake it would have been taken down: it’s still there in The Sun. “You rang, mi’lord?” 😁

Do we pay for your security? Have you just had a high profile security court case?

Yes, through taxation which goes to fund policing.
In fact, I'd love to get rid of the whole Royal Family so there's more money to go around.
But I can't get over how obsessed people are with Harry, it's fascinating but also scary at the same. It's literally a case of a human knocking on the wrong fucking door. HOLD THE FRONT PAGE. Forget Gaza, forget the new war on the subcontinent, forget Ukraine, A HUMAN KNOCKED ON THE WRONG DOOR!!!
It's madness!

Thedom · 10/05/2025 10:13

You can see the top of the bald head of his private bodyguard just behind his shoulder. He probably had other locally hired security too.

Which absolutely means whatever security he has is more than sufficient for him to feel at ease walking down a residential street in London and knocking on random doors looking for his mates.

He doesn't NEED publicly funded armed personal security when he comes to the UK, he just wants it.

RAVEC did their job, they deemed him low risk on this occasion, there are no paparazzi chasing him, no random fans jumping out of the bushes, no taliban or acid attackers or lone actors putting his life at stake, no one even noticed him.

It was a month ago, it's only coming out now, possibly because the papers were doing their due diligence on the veracity of it.

I’m just curious. Seems like a vendetta …

Admit it, you’re obsessed with me. Have you been stalking me? How do you know I’m always talking about Harry? Is my username that memorable 👸🏻

No. It's not a story about a human knocking on the wrong door.
Are you aware of what Harry's been doing recently?

No, it's a story about a vendetta between the far right/right wing gutter press and a rather sad member of a rather unpleasant family.

Hello, Meghan.

No, it's a story about a multimillionaire royal prince who wants unlimited taxpayer funded security and gets angry and petulant when he doesn't get his own way.
He's a gift to "the gutter press" with his idiocy. He doesn't believe in a free press and he wants the plebs to carry on funding him.

AzurePanda · 10/05/2025 10:21

Seems odd that if it’s AI that they chose to fabricate a story about Harry knocking on random doors rather than coming up with something more interesting/ salacious.

MrsEmmelineLucas · 10/05/2025 10:22

People who defend and excuse Harry because he is royal is something I find inexplicable.
Still. Each to their own.

Yeah it is quite memorable.

I just saw this thread title and thought not yet another thread about Harry; this one seems all about nothing at all. Then I recognised the username. You might post more about him than you realise.

I’ve only noticed because I hitherto wasn’t too impressed by him but lately MN is making me feel a bit like he’s getting a bashing to a level that leaves me feeling I don’t really understand the vitriol. There was another thread all about what losers his Dc are destined to be. It just seems ott. He hasn’t actually done anything more wicked than moan on about his family really.

Warning Red Flag GIF

I still think it’s really weird you know how much I post and what I talk about. I really couldn’t think of anyone’s name on here and what they post bar one very articulate poster who I used to regularly debate with but unfortunately they do not post on here any longer (or if they do they are under another name).

He’s a public figure, he will be talked about and it’s not all going to be glowing. If it upsets you so much I recommend you just ignore the threads and maybe even the board? I’m just a random on Mumsnet, I shouldn’t be upsetting you this much 🤣

this is a person who had NYPD escort to a tattoo shop and his wife to the theatre. When Harry does this it's his own image that costs a fortune in security and PR he taints. This is more than a video as there was other eye witnesses and Harry who is extremely litigious and has The People on speed dial to correct any false stories. Comparing ordinary people with Harry is one of the biggest insults you can give him. As he so often reminds everyone he is a Prince. He is not like you or me, he believes in hierarchy, he's just not happy he's not William.

twilightermummy · 10/05/2025 10:31

It actually makes me sick how the media are going for him. The public have been drawn into despising and mocking someone at every turn. I was just on a thread about friendly countries to visit and I kid you not, somebody posted that unfriendly countries were anywhere where H&M had been. What a weirdo!

It feels really uncomfortable to witness people just openly bullying these 2. I thought we'd got past all of that as a nation, with more awareness of mental health etc.

He clearly had security somewhere in the vicinity. I suspect the people he believes could hurt him (extremists) aren't hiding behind posh doors in London. If they were, they wouldn't have been expecting him either. Tbf, he has more reason to fear his own country people and the hate that they spew.

I'm not keen on the royal family at all however, I don't behave like this. I think Harry is becoming the bully boy for people who have biases (whether conscious or not). That's what makes me so angry.
Honestly, there's less hate towards murderers.

And breathe...!🙇

Funnily enough I’ve just had a look through my recent post history. I have started a thread about royal fashion, the VE days celebrations, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte’s birthdays, and commented on Catherine having a rose named after her and laughing about Louis’ antics, as well as giving Harry advice on a thread asking what would you advise, as well as discussing Meghan's podcast (but I’ve got bored of that because it’s a boring podcast). Hence I don’t always talk about Harry. Maybe you are so obsessed with defending Harry you are looking for the negative comments. That’s not a healthy habit, my friend. You’ll just get yourself wound up like you are doing here.

MaturingCheeseball · 10/05/2025 10:34

Every time you think about feeling sorry for Harry…. Just remember the nasty things he’s said. How when The Queen died all he cared about was getting Meghan on that plane to Balmoral, no matter that his grandmother, his father’s mother, was on her deathbed. Remember his nastiness about Catherine. And remember how he wanted (sill wants!) the taxpayer to fund his ridiculous princely wanderings.

So it’s very funny when there he is, out in the dangerous wild, not knowing that streets have even numbers on one side, odd on the other.

NewAgeNewMe · 10/05/2025 10:35

I still can’t believe this is real. It looks faked. If it’s real does nothing for his security claims so that’s why I’m erring on the side that it’s a fake.

Artesia · 10/05/2025 10:38

midlandsmummy123 · 10/05/2025 00:06

Harry wants a RAVEC review when he comes to the UK because there has been credible threats on his and his family's lives from Al Qaeda and the police can't work with his private security and they can't be armed in the UK.

This was all part of the court case last week - do you think its funny that an actual terrorist organisation have made death threats to Harry, his wife and children?

Edited

Not funny, no. But if he hadn't written a book boasting about how many of them he'd killed, likening it to eliminating chess pieces, he wouldn't be in quite so much danger. The man is an idiot and wants us all to pay to protect him from his own stupidity

midlandsmummy123 · 09/05/2025 23:42

I just don't get why people are so invested in this.

Because this is the very same man who is claiming that he needs 24hr tax payer funded armed security....

WhenYouSayNothingAtAll · 10/05/2025 10:43

How the fuck is this “news”?

Whooowhooohoo · 10/05/2025 10:43

Not sure why Harry would be exempt from making same mistakes I would make.

IMO … he is being used to get clicks, sell ad space and distract from the repulsiveness of Chaz & Camila, and the angry bald guy William.

I’m not upset. As I said, I’m curious. I’ve listened to what you have to say on it and it’s got me curious.
I’m not sure that taking notice of what people post is against the spirit of a forum.

What can I say: your username is distinctive and I have a good memory.

All these red lights you are posting are a slightly counterproductive way of trying to distract from the fact that you haven’t actually answered my question which was why does this individual get under your collar so much? For all I know you have an interesting answer. It’s obviously one you don’t want to give. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Amazing, so man knocks on the wrong door, how dare he? shame on him! Let's bring all the tabloids (those tabloids that promote sexism, racism and divisiveness) so he can be ridiculed infront of everyone for... knocking on the wrong door.

Wait... didn't he sue those tabloids and won a while ago?

No, he didn't. The case was settled out of court, so no-one won.

I think people are talking about this for several reasons:
Harry has just cost the tax payer several hundred thousand on a court case he didn't need to take (as he does have appropriate security). I hope he does end up paying costs.
For someone who claims he is concerned about security, his behaviour frequently says otherwise (swapping from secure cars to taxis, ordering takeaway delivery, knocking on random house doors).

I also think a lot people, like me, are genuinely concerned that his behaviour is deteriorating and find that sad. Despite his vindictiveness towards his family it's never good to see someone unravel in public.

He doesn’t get under my collar. I find him and his antics good entertainment. He’s a public figure and he’s in a current news story.

Im much more interested why you seem so obsessed with me that you remember my username and seemingly stalk me over threads to say im always talking about Harry. We’re on the royal board. Harry was a working royal and is now royal adjacent. What don’t you understand? Why are you so determined to stop people talking about him?
