Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

If he had security with him or even a friend, why didn’t they knock on the door for him? When he lived in London as a single man he was practically a hermit because he did not want to be recognised. He would go to the local shop in disguise. (I just read Spare.) I do think it’s quite strange.

It's not a non story. It comes after a big court case and a BBC interview about his security

If William did something so foolish, it would be headline news, and definitely a thread on here.

It is a non story because it is obviously fake. But it is funny.

If it was William people would be all “Aww, he’s just like us!” Or “Bless him, he must be so tired, up all night looking after the children!”

TheMeasure · 10/05/2025 09:47

Apologies but have only skimmed the thread.
Look, I am by no means a Harry fan (and think he's lost his head over this latest court case and subsequent interview) but I'm another one who doesn't think that doorbell footage is genuine.
Who stands to benefit from such a "story?" Who published it first?

ShockedandStunnedRepeatedly · 10/05/2025 09:48

Ah wait… is it AI? Oops. I woz ‘ad!

Really? Bearing in mind how nasty people are about William on here?
Unlikely.
I have no idea if it's real or not because I'm waiting for further evidence. I do not blindly accept everything that Harry says and does is brilliant and anything negative is the work of the tabloids. Some people seem to think he can do no wrong.
I am not impressed by Harry's status.

If it was William I'd be saying is he mad, he can't go wandering around knocking on strangers doors!

Why are you so sure it is fake? I thought nowadays papers had to be 100% sure stories are genuine?

FriendsPlease · 10/05/2025 09:53

The press wouldn't have published it if it was Ai, there are rules that govern this.
Funny how Harry's royal fans claim it's fake news. The only thing that's faux is Harry's claim that it's unsafe to bring his children to meet their granddad.

He did contradict himself, unsurprisingly, I'm sure he could get an invitations from Charles and bring the kids to wherever the King is currently residing full royal security and accommodation included. I hope Haz didn't have in mind taking his kids on a wild goose chase around London knocking on random doors looking for 'friends'.

sandrafarringdon66 · 10/05/2025 09:57

Amazing, so man knocks on the wrong door, how dare he? shame on him! Let's bring all the tabloids (those tabloids that promote sexism, racism and divisiveness) so he can be ridiculed infront of everyone for... knocking on the wrong door.

Wait... didn't he sue those tabloids and won a while ago?

It must be, because not even Harry would be that stupid. I’m sure his lawyers will be all over it this morning and will be preparing their very strong legal cases against the newspapers who’ve published this false story.

How sad people are- human being gets lost.
Happens to me most days!
If anything it underlines the point that he probably does need some form of security,

I think you need to read the thread/article. Perhaps also his recent court case and BBC rant.
"Knocking on the wrong door" is absolutely not what this is about.

It isnt about knocking on the wrong door. It is the security aspect, something he has mentioned a bit recently.

It is very basic that you know the address of where you are going if you feel you are in a very unsafe place surely?

Do we pay for your security? Have you just had a high profile security court case?

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 10/05/2025 10:03

Honestly I can see why some people are thinking it’s fake/AI. It’s all just so random 🤣

You must be one of those people who's never knocked on the wrong door.

Lucky you.

Just had another look at the picture. Is the white van in the background his transportation, do you think? Bit of a comedown from the fleets of black SUVs with outriders, but as Prince Phillip used to drive around London in a black cab (because no-one would think to check whether the driver was a member of the RF) maybe this is Harry’s way of going around the capital. Beanie hat on, copy of the Star on the dashboard, thermos of tea to hand…the perfect disguise.

You don’t have to comment on these boards if you don’t want to talk about Harry, you know? It’s a message board. We tend to talk about things that are in the news. This is in the news 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it’s fake because it’s so incredibly unlikely. Why would he be knocking on random doors half a mile apart? He appears to have a phone in his hand-I mean, the man is clearly an idiot, but surely even he would have called whoever he was trying to visit? And to have knocked on the door of someone who coincidentally was prepared to sell the picture to the Sun…..
Oh, and the people who think the papers wouldn’t print fake content-I have a very nice bridge I can sell you….

Well, if it's fake, you can bet Harry will sue.
He'll make a lot of money!
Yet more publicity, yet more dosh - win/win!

He may be ill.His rant in the BBC interview verged on the deranged. Wandering about, not knowing where he was going, doesn't seem quite right either.

I agree. This is what mental health issues look like. That we're supposedly destigmatising these days.

Unfortunately you can have poor mental health and also be quite an unlikeable, entitled person. I'm entirely fed up with Harry at this point but I do think the last few years of his life he's been spiralling, paranoid and showing signs he has probably been quite damaged by his (history of? current?) drug use. He's also the product of a very strange upbringing and simply isn't equipped to cope outside the institution he was born into. It's all rather sad.

I haven’t read the full story, but does he find his “friend” in the end?
