Harry's new interview 2

I just thought I would start second thread since I noticed the first one is full. It has certainly dominated media reporting. I saw a snippet on Sky news earlier. A document from Harry saying its a dereliction of duty to stop his security. Erm who just whizzed off to the USA and left all the duties behind. I havent watched the whole interview. I wonder if he'll appeal again.

So he left the courtroom, exhausted as he said, and went hunting for a friend to hang out with. 🤔

RandyRedHumpback · 10/05/2025 11:45

So he left the courtroom having bleated before the COA judges that he was not safe in the UK. And then walked up and down a West London street ringing on random doorbells.

Unless he was playing an elaborate game of Knock-a-Door Ginger, Royal Edition, methinks he's a bit thick.

Apparently it was when he was here last month for the security court days, same suit.

So if that's correct it would have been while the Ravec appeal was still being considered - in which case I'd be even more inclined to believe it was a "look what happens when I don't have proper security" stunt

Puzzledandpissedoff · 10/05/2025 11:18

Well we're always being told that the newspapeers "can't do that nowadays" and that "everything has to be run by their lawyers" and I'm not entirely convinced of that either

What strikes me most though is that the entire narrative is now what a fool Harry is - unarguable perhaps, but hardly something that's going to improve his increasingly manic behaviour or to secure a happy ending to any of this

I agree that the negative press coverage will feed into H’s sense of victimhood and paranoia which is not good for his mental health. However if the press receives a story like this, it’s in the public interest to print it. H has dragged the Home Office through the court, costing time and money and made some pretty serious allegations about the government and BP. If this is true, it is clear he doesn’t genuinely feel at risk and he simply has a personal axe to grind.

Mylovelygreendress · 10/05/2025 12:26

If it is fake then surely The Office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will issue a denial ?

Weepixie · 10/05/2025 12:39

I really thought it was about his fears for Meghan related to his mother's death. But having seen the analysis of the interview I'm changing my mind.

Meghans going to be just fine as long as she stays out of cars driven at speed by a drunk and drugged up driver whilst she’s not wearing a seatbelt, or even if she does wear one.

He'll sue! Desperate for any chance of ££££

Increasingly no one would blame M for leaving H. She eventually was left with no choice so sadly departed…The unsettling behaviour perhaps continued you see. Perhaps…

It's beginning to sound like another one of these. Woman wanting custody of children.

Quite!

We know that Diana's death wasn't directly caused by papparazzi - it was because someone in the car seems to have urged the drunk Henri Paul to drive at a crazy speed to escape them.

My reaction at the time was 'So what was the worst that could happen - there'd be a photo of Diana and Dodi together in a car?' I've never understood what the problem was, except in either Diana's or Dodi's minds.

Same with H & M. They will surely have learned that they will be in no physical danger, whatever the press attention, as long as their driver is sober and competent and they don't try to escape by racing off into the night at a crazy speed. Simples!

Surely H isn't trying to suggest that Meghan doesn't want to be papped???🤔

I'm sure there will be some gushing post for American mothers day this Sunday about how never since diana has there been such an amazing mother as meghan etc and all will be forgiven.

Harry doesn't have a SM account though so it would have to go out on Meghan's. And I think even she would stop short of wishing herself a Happy Mother's Day. I could definitely be wrong though! Easily the best thing about her latest podcast is reading about how she shoehorns in compliments to herself.

Is anyone else getting the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream ad popping up whilst reading this thread?

No, it's still the rosemary oil.

IsoldeWagner · 10/05/2025 14:09

Meghan will mention Mother's Day on her Instagram. She is very keen to promote what a good Trad Wife she is, so mother in the kitchen with her small children would be the vibe.

RandyRedHumpback · 10/05/2025 14:34

Hopefully she will say something nice about Doria.

The Sun wouldn’t publish if fake - almost certainly. As someone said upthread it happened a while ago, they’ll have checked veracity & they pay well/best re: tabloids.

I agree this is a dead easy story to verify and the Sun absolutely will have done that - we all know how litigious Harry is. It's not a whisper of something someone said 3 years ago that needs to be checked out. It's a Ring doorbell video, on a verifiable London street, given to the Sun by the residents of the house who will be able to provide proof of identity for themselves, and proof that they own/ rent the home, and proof that they own the doorbell and therefore the associated footage. Not complicated. Plus other individual unrelated residents of the street saw him too!

Maybe about how blessed she is as a mother?

foreverblowingbubbless · 10/05/2025 15:09

It will feature herself and Diana and Doria.

IsoldeWagner · 10/05/2025 15:11

Maybe a sweet message from her children about what an amazing mother she is. Plus the obligatory Diana tribute.

If/when it happens they will 100% blame the RF and the cruel treatment that put too much pressure on the marriage, the lack of support they've been given and the way they've been ostracised.
I actually think the whole mess is putting a strain on the marriage, I just think they are the architects of that and the only ones who could possibly put any of it right.

If she leaves him the narrative needs also to squarely blame him I think, if a caveat of ‘evil unsupportive/ no free cash Royals’ made her do it to a degree. There are some great luxe rehab & life coaching facilities in CA & Arizona, she may suggest H has a stint there & then they review (?)

Surely the best chance they ever had at real happiness was to go off grid/have limited social media only for commercial gigs (?) M is smart surely she’d realise the ostracism from family & friends would slowly destroy his rather fragile soul (?).

IdaGlossop · 10/05/2025 16:57

I wonder if M doesn't care either way. She tells us she's never been happier. If that's true, she can live the life she's living with or without H. She's got worldwide notoriety, which seems to have been her aim.

Edited for typo
