Good grief the support for odious Andrew continues.
I don’t think anyone expects his family not to see him.
but in private.
not when it’s going to be photographed. Or at a coronation

I'm surprised that wasn't given more publicity? I've never heard it before.

Don't they all get threats against them sometimes? I guess it's not publicised for security reasons.

Agreed. But I don’t mind him going to church with the family. Or funeral. But state occasions no.

Charles meets huge numbers of people, many of them rich and powerful. Why should he have been expected to know what Savile (for example) was when so many were covering up for him?

Because he has armies of advisors whose sole job is to protect his reputation and keep him from associating from openly rumoured and publicly self-admitted unsavoury characters.

There was loads of coverage of that. It was some jihadist plot. I suspect the lack of coverage in the UK press about the Meghan/Harry plots are because it was iff the back of dome pretty racist coverage by the tabloids, and they didn't want to be implicated.

A simple search finds plenty of coverage. A jihadist was jailed for 25 years in July 2018 for calling on attacks on a number of targets including George who was 4 years old at the time.

that is terrifying. imagine the worry they must have when a small child is targeted.

If I had to pick a recent Royal
scandal, the Queen defending and standing by Andrew is probably the most distasteful. The RNLI having to pay Charles to launch lifeboats is pretty grim too, mind you…

Are you surprised? They harassed posters who had anything positive to say about Meghan and most of them didn't even acknowledge what the Sussex family went through.
Here is an excellent interview by Piers Morgan with Virginia's lawyer. Without Virginia, Epstein or his friends would never have been exposed. What a brave and courageous woman. Andrew and his supportive family should watch this and be thoroughly ashamed of their behaviour.

What did the Sussex family go through @Whatacircus ?
The fact that millions of people were delighted that Harry had found true love ? That they were given a £30+ million wedding ? A beautiful home beside Windsor Castle ? Titles? Designer clothes ? Jewels? 24/7 security ? Staff ?

Totally agree. She didn't have to make a very prominent gesture to the public about her son showing her support so soon after his idiot interview
