Seeing as this thread has moved on from Andrew and people are happy to post daily mail articles here, what does everyone think about this?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-14587119/Meghan-Markle-berated-Windsor-gardener-Queen-intervened.html

Smacks of the arrogance that Andrew has also been accused of in the past.

I saw that earlier. It seems to fit with a pattern of behaviour that's emerging doesn't it?

I'm kind of in two minds about the Andrew thing. On the one hand I don't particularly want to see him in public but on the other hand, he's entitled to go to church with his family. Maybe his family feel sorry for him in the light of his spectacular fall from grace?

themightysossidge · 20/04/2025 16:59

TulipTiptoer · 20/04/2025 16:46

You didn't learn much from your experience did you, or you wouldn't have come out with a statement like that!

Well, I find that really unpleasant from you to me, so there you go.

Poor you! You take umbrage because I said you should know better than to tell a poster with cancer to " stop" ? Perhaps think about how the poster you referred to now feels.

Samcro · 20/04/2025 17:01

Oops I realised that wasn't to me. There have been several posters now equally disgusted by @TulipTiptoer's post.

TulipTiptoer · 20/04/2025 17:02

@mainecooncatonahottinroof
I have apologised to littlegreendress and I meant it.
It is not for you to say you don't think my apology was sincere.

It is up to littlegreendress to accept my apology if she thinks it came from the heart. It did, but it's her prerogative to accept, or not, whatever she feels best.

It now feels like a pile on in all sorts of ways. I apologised. I meant it. But everything I post now will quite obviously be sneered at and ridiculed
I will leave you all to it on this thread.

Definitely. The wedding chef, Angela Kelly and now a gardener. Not to mention all Kensington Palace staff who accused her of bullying, and the allegations from the US. I heard Andrew was/is rude to his staff and has been accused of bullying too. Maybe it’s something to do with being the spare?

It’s not a departure lounge, you don’t have to announce that you’re leaving. You do know that, don’t you?

Just something to do with being rude and arrogant. Most of us manage to be polite to those we deal with.

Yeah. It’s a tough one isn’t it? He’s not a working royal and shouldn’t enjoy the benefits of being seen in public like this, but on the other hand, he is entitled to worship where he wants and with his family. I’d be interested to know whether he is regular church going, particular to this church.

I know even if he wants to go to church, surely for everyone’s sake he could quietly sneak in through and leave by another entrance. He’s so thick skinned. Charles really needs to cut him off. I am sure William will when he takes over, once and for all.

Oh, you'd think he could go in a side door! He's so arrogant though. Him and his ghastly wife, gurning away.

It was @Mylovelygreendress .

Samcro · 20/04/2025 17:14

I see that the same old same old has happened. What a shame it was quite nice having a thread that was a bit different.
the poster apologised to the poster they may have upset. What more can they do. Yet once again a thread gets derailed with a pile on.

OP posts:
themightysossidge · 20/04/2025 17:18

@PrettyFlyforaMaiTai there are always those posters who have to announce it. I think they think their absence will be noticed so they have to announce it. 1. They've got to have the last word. 2. They don't want people to think they have been temporarily banned . The excuses are common on here 1. Picking wild garlic 2. Having to get off the train 3. Clearing the driveway 4. Picking berries 5. Having better things to do unlike others. It's all so pathetic and laughable.

They deserved the deletion and several people bringing it up. I think that is way more important than a temporary derail of a thread. Don't you agree?

I’m surprised they’ve not come back to have the last word actually…

I can say what I see if I chose too. The apology tacked onto the horrible post that you wrote which was deleted, doesn't feel that sincere to me, I'm afraid. Nobody has said anything that the posts didn't merit, whether you like it or not.

If you had reverted to posting in a polite and considerate manner, nobody would have an issue. Nobody has "sneered at" or "ridiculed" you at all. We don't know you. Several of us were disgusted by what you wrote, that's all!

As @Mylovelygreendress (not littlegreendress - you could at least get her name right!) isn't on this thread, she's unlikely to even see your apology anyway!

There were a lot of "derails' prior to that one! "Detours" I'd call them probably!

You may not have seen the deleted post - I did and it was hugely unpleasant towards someone the poster had already upset!

The thread was not "derailed by a pile-on" - it was derailed by the poster who upset another post with her insensitivity, and followed that up by being rude to the poster she had upset!! I won't stand by and say nothing!

I think the derail started around page 14 if I’m being honest…no one wants to seem to talk about Andrew any more despite poster’s efforts 🤷🏼‍♀️

TulipTiptoer · 20/04/2025 14:30

I agree.

Even if he went on his own.

Just my opinion

Do you know for absolute certain that William hasn't been to church today? Windsor isn't the only place in the UK which has a Christian place of worship.

In some places where vicars have to look after several churches and cannot be in all of them today, I think yesterday evening may have been a time for some places to administer Easter communion but I'm not absolutely sure on that.

themightysossidge · 20/04/2025 17:36

So what about Andrew? He was at Church . He looked an ugly mess . Perhaps he was praying for his sins. Who really cares 🤷‍♀️

Seriously, what is the deal with him and Fergie? Are they together? Are they not? Fuck buddies?? 🤢
